Nah, thanks anyway, ban me I don't give a s**t anymore, the Adelaide board has gone to s**t the last few months, ******* ridiuculous having a "No Discussion" thread on an internet forum.

It's literally an index for rumours so it is possible to keep up with what's going on without having to trawl through page after page of meaningless discussion to find news. The best improvement this board has seen for ages.

What the **** is it with snowflakes getting irritated by that.

And guess what I don't give a s**t.

A No Discussion thread on an internet forum rates as the dumbest thing I've ever seen on the Adelaide board when 99.9% of the bulls**t posted on that thread is made up crap or media bulls**t anyhow.
And yet you quoted a rumour and passed comment against Geelong as if the rumour was correct

He gets votes because he gets a lot of it. But doesn’t kick goals, and is not that damaging for sheer numbers he produces. I’m not saying he is a bad player. He’s good. But he’s not an A grader.

Still gaining confidence in his body and ability to use its natural power. He’s got another gear to go yet and when he trusts himself and his pace, he’ll be elite. Assuming he doesn’t break down.

You don’t believe in rules? I reckon it’s a great idea, all the bullshit easily accessible and we can argue over it in this thread. Hell, in this thread we can discuss whether sauce belongs in the fridge or cupboard. Cupboard obviously, but that’s the beauty of a discussion thread. The other is not that.

It’s necessary because of the amount of off topic crap that infiltrates every single thread on this board.

Ha ha we finally agree on something.

I think it’s been a great addition and not rocket science to work out

Wow talk about a melt.
It’s this time of year for Bicks
I’ve seen him being hammered with questions that not need be
People are lazy
I’d hate to think what his private PMs look like
He is a resource that we should value and respect

I suppose what we have to remember is that if Crouch decides to ask for a trade (I am in the boat of him not asking), Reid has good form extracting a very high price for trades in the last few years. 13 + McAdam for McGovern. 2 x 1st rounders for Lever. 12 for Cameron (at the time it was being called big overs by the media). It would not surprise me if GC really want B Crouch that Lukosius will be the asking price and I would back Reid in to ensure it happens or he holds fast on trading Brad. The only other deal I could see is B Crouch for their pick 14 + their 2020 1st and we might offer up a 2020 2nd back. Reid will absolutely play hardball of that I am in no doubt
I don't think for one minute ...that Brad wants to go to GC

Mitch clearly-last week

Brad has gone to the Crows and his management has started talks on a five-year deal. He wants a long-term deal beyond his contract for 2020, but his management is also at the same time is still shopping him around to teams like Gold Coast and St Kilda.”

“He wants a mega-offer and he’s still at this stage being shopped around.”

Tim Watson-today
BREAKING NEWS from Tim Watson: "Brad Crouch, (is) very close, to accepting a Gold Coast Suns offer. The Crows are trying extremely hard to keep him."

The issue I see is having with Brad is his injury history. It stems back to before he was even drafted.

He’s going to want a long term deal for security, his body could very easily fail him again in the preseason and that’s him.

On the flip side, do we want to be risking long term deals on a player with such a history, despite his obvious talent? There comes a point where you have to say “not for me”.

The trouble is, we have a club out there in Gold Coast, who would be under massive amounts of pressure to sign an A-Grade midfielder like Brad who would instantly improve their midfield. That pressure may mean they’re happy to give Brad a 5 year deal on big cash.

In normal circumstances he’d probably say no and we’d probably offer a 5 year deal much more freely to a player of his caliber, but with his body, it’s a much harder decision.

We need to stop haemorrhaging players, but by the same token we can’t be bullied into offering stupid deals, like we did with Jenkins.

Reality is, until we get our house in order, we’re massively vulnerable and unfortunately the powers that be at our club have been the last to accept/recognize that there’s significant issues.

So Charlie Cameron was indeed trolling. What a campaigner
I think some of the players enjoying seeing how the tabloid media react and then the general public jump at the shadows and proclaim the sky is falling at the hint of an unsourced journo proclaiming player X is leaving.

I don't get how anyone could say we need to trade out Laird for draft picks, but then those draft picks should be spent on Grundy. That's not a rebuild, that's what a team that thinks they are contending would do.

You either go for mature players (contending) or get in draft picks or young talent (rebuild)
That's simplistic Scorpus. When the draft is as even as it appears to be this year, you weigh up the relative value. Grundy is head and shoulders above any 25 year old we have on our list. Picks are not a golden ticket, ask Gold Coast.

Anyway, it's moot, he ain't coming this year.
