Can’t really say mate but I can promise if I ever thought it could hurt our club I wouldn’t mention it but in a case like this it is of no consequence. He has not yet indicated what he’s doing but he is gathering information. I’d love him to stay a one club player. See what happens.

Bit of scuttlebutt that Cameron is off to the Cats just waiting the announcement.Caldwell also told friends he is off. Not sure what's happening at the club the only Cameron most people I talk to wanted to go was the coach.

Losing Jeremy and gaining a ruck that could compete is not a loss. Fwd line of Riccardi, Harry and Finlayson will function just fine. Greene is now our biggest fwd threat and with Hill and Daniels continuing to improve the balance looks better. With Zac gone Kelly becomes a must keep and Ash needs to be extended, these 2 are the big ones for me.

If he goes I hope we match his contract offer. Especially if it is Geelong. If he went there without them giving anything up it just gives one of our biggest premiership rivals a leg up going forward.
Let him go pre season cause he won’t last to Geelong’s pick. Plenty of clubs with cap space lining up to pick him at whatever price. North/Dons prime example

Little reputation or expectation, earned his start due to consistency in the lower levels, played well and earned a contract.
Guys that get a start this way rarely let you down.

Interesting. I recall when Tom Bugg was leaving Melbourne I said he'd be one guy I would have back. Not a superstar but a solid worker; could fill in various areas including midfield and defence. He would obviously be nil cost too. The downside would be his age profile doesn't really help us - but then it seems selecting kids in the draft isn't working for us either! And of course whatever drove him to depart Carlton would be a risk that it recurs and we lose out (with smaller list sizes).

I'm not sure yet what my actual assessment of this as an option is ...
