What did hawkins kick..6 points. Geelong looked on the whole really slow and even then had they kicked a bit better would still have got the chocolates. Brisbane and richmond will pose vastly different problems to port when they meet

Err, they were on drugs, of course the results could have affected the season.
thier sanction was another asterisk season, saying it only affected them is like saying Brisbane’s home games only affected them.
But Brisbane affected the finals by finishing top 4, Essendon was a non factor in those years. It's like a normal season were some teams luck in playing bottom 4 team twice and only affected those teams.

I still don't rate Port.

Look they played a good game, But when you kick 1 Goal 7 from set shots. and the leading Coleman medal winner kicks 0-5 with one out on the full. You're in a bad spot.

Brisbane should absolutely roll them.
Oh come on, Port didn't finish top by a sheer fluke. Bad kicking is bad football, good kicking is good football. Port took their chances and are now a win away from the GF. Time to accept the fact that they're one of the teams to beat.

Brisbane at AO when they haven't travelled all season....their form late season has been very scratchy.

Ports easiest path to a premiership would be Richmond beating Brisbane

Play Brisbane in the prelim, then Richmond in the GF

If it were the other way round Id have them underdogs in both
This way I think they have better chances at making it there. Probably still get smashed, but at least they get there this way.

Throw Paddy forward - tick.. Blicavs in the ruck - tick.

What’s happened to the other coaching masterstroke - throw Harry forward?
Scott left him forward when they got within 7 points in the last quarter after they kicked the goal. I can see him getting desperate and paying for $700K for Crouch's, let's face it, this will be his last chance with this group of elite players and they need a big body midfielder with at least some speed not a Viney who is as slow as f*ck.

Made most of getting teams at the right time and blessed by the best made up fixture on the run......Hinkley is destined to be re-signed for 5 years.

Brisbane finished top 4 last year.
So now it’s only an asterisk year because the finals were affected?
Weren’t you claiming before that it was an asterisk year because GWS were affected, that was in the H&A so I guess that doesn’t count.
Essendon weren’t a factor?
They may have won games because of drugs (hence then getting penalties) you can’t claim it’s an asterisk year this year but not other years unless you are trying to be inconsistent?

Yeah you'd imagine that Port supporters will be praying that Richmond win tomorrow night.

Playing Brisbane im the prelim will be easiest way into the GF than having to face the Tiges.
