A lot of Sam Jacobs about him, how he gets some taps, 2 handballs and not a ******* thing else...

And will score more than our rookie forward pockets if Darcy misses time.

All those loose ball gets!

Who's more likely to play Rd1, Pedlar or Berry?
At this stage looks like Berry .....his preparation is a little more advanced, and he hasn't had the injury issues Pedlar had last season

But Pedlar is the SC premium of the future, he'll play a lot of games ......and as much as you don't like this, Pedlar will sit on my bench in R1

Based on the North-St Kilda practice match:

Lazzaro: Will get games at half-forward. Accumulated 15-20 touches and laid a few tackles in a half-forward role. Has been the most impressive of the new draftees so far.
Powell: Was one of our best in the first quarter and got plenty of it. Slowed down and was heavily rested up forward and on the bench. Will certainly be amongst the rotations come round 1, but will have to wait and see with Philips playing against Hawthorn.
Young: Had some meh moments, but had a good third quarter. Defence was under the pump all day. Is borderline best 22 due to a dearth of good disposers in the back half and Hayden playing in the midfield.
Ford: Very raw. Not likely to feature a whole heap this year. Long-term prospect.
Menadue: Wouldn't worry about him getting an AFL-level game any time soon.
Just on Powell:

“I think Tom Highmore has done some good things straightaway at the footy club. He's had some opportunities, he played a quarter last week and he was lucky because of 'Chip' (Frawley) that he got to play three quarters tonight.

"He's done a lot of things right. We'll go through that in the selection and whether Jake Carlisle comes in or it's Tom Highmore, we might even play a bit different. Jimmy Webster can play taller, Nick Coffield can play taller as well … we're not going to make any decisions on that."

Pick Highmore you ******* campaigners. We need some ******* cheap defenders.

Thankfully we can make a decision on Saturday night at ~6pm.

Sunday teams will be announced, so we'll see if Highmore is named
Cox, Ling and Koschitzke all play Saturday night at 7:25pm onwards

If Bianco surprisingly gets a gig for the Pies on Friday night, I'll lock him in early. Good swing with Laird

Hawthorn has filled one of their list spots via the supplemental selection period, adding Lachlan Bramble.

The 22-year-old midfielder was set to play for the Box Hill Hawks in 2021 in the VFL, but has been given an opportunity on the AFL list.

“We’re excited to bring Lachlan into the fold at Hawthorn,” said club Head of Football Rob McCartney.

“We see plenty of upside with Lachlan, he’s got experience playing at the VFL level with Williamstown and had signed on with Box Hill earlier this year. He has shown good development over the past few years and has plenty of room to grow

“Lachlan has presented himself strongly over the pre-season and our recent trial matches. He’s got versatility in his game, shows skill on both sides of his body and possesses good speed and power.

Just remember Carlisle is still in the background.

Gut feel says he earns his stripes at BH. Quick agile with potential to be on the wing. We're not looking overly strong this year though, so he may get chances early.

How can you be so negative? I'm fully confident we'll make the top 18.

Doubt he’ll be SuperCoach relevant anytime soon, but Essendon have pulled this signing straight out of left field.

Kaine is an Adelaide Boy ....Glenelg actually ....was destined to be a Top 15 selection in this years Draft as a 194cm KPF

A knee reco in 2019, and a 2nd corrective surgery in 2020 saw him go undrafted .....guy is a serious talent, if his knee's hold out

Another $102K Rookie everyone :)

This is Kaine in U17's ....as a 16 yo

Pretty highly rated wasn’t he pre injury?
Yeah, I definitely recall him being hyped up as a first-second round prospect.

Article read like he still might not be a 100% from the injury yet, maybe a downgrade target.
