Seems to be said about a lot of drafts. There’s a good first bunch and then throw a blanket over the next 10-15. Then in five years people are asking how did he slip through to 25 or 45 or the rookie draft.

Idk I don’t find the use in being needlessly negative. Good to joke around for a bit after a loss but trying to find something decent in every performance helps keep me excited for the next week. Once you stop being excited for the team’s next game sitting through a match just feels like a slog. When we get flogged I try to go into the mode of finding a shining light player or effort.

I know I'm only new to the forum and have quite a few posts in a short amount of time but haven't got many mates who go for the saints and this is really the only place I've found that speculates and looks at the drafts and trades in advance. With the recent lockdown as well I've had even more time to be on here with nothing to do but post and speculate on the Saints and how we're going.

Sometimes I take the piss and joke around but most of the time I'm trying to initiate discussion or play devils advocate about topics that might be going in circles.

WTF do we hate midfielders? Picking this Alison bloke when we aready have Membrey and Battle as the second or third tall. Poulter would have beeen obvious for a team that has had an ordinary midfield for a decade.
