Crouch was close to playing back in May but didn't get back onto the park until round 15 of the SANFL , had 28 touches and then went missing for the last 3 rounds , That doesn't sound good , why would he not play in the last 3 rounds unless the groin flared up again ?

Saving himself so as to be the third amigo in the Hanners/Wood/Crouch rehab squad of 2022?

50/50 on mclean
Lonie and dunstan to leave
Billings more likely to stay (sounds like on average coin given market wasn't too warm on him)
You can take too much notice of those Muppets when they mention no one offering Billings a 5 or 6 year deal , they must be p1ssed to even think he would be getting that type of deal

If he was smart he should ask for a 1 year deal and go all out next year a have a blinder then see what the offers are.

Seasons over and still have not made the call on Frawley - I thought Geary would retire but he signed another contract.
Being mates of Roughead and Ratten who knows.

Absolutely no way we should be re-signing Frawley. Don’t even know why we did it first time round.

I think the club has sold itself down a certain path by suggesting that we are contending next year. We really can't afford to step backwards. We are losing a lot of experience already and maybe three of our most experienced regular players.
Is that contending for the 8 or for the flag?

Its probably made up bullshit but mindset....

I want to get my club into a grand final .....as opposed to..."i want to go to a club where the other players will get us into a grand final ".

Yes, it makes me laugh thinking about Ryan Griffen and Deledio and any other players that left their dud team only to watch their dud team win a flag.

Grffen could have been a premiership captain lol.

Wait, so we have delisted him and cost ourselves a compo pick we would have got from his unrestricted free agency status?

That is one of the dumbest things that I've witnessed.

I’d sign him assuming we keep billings and I’d also try to move up for Callaghan.

Parker is a great player with a better draw and a decent run with injuries I’ll go out on a limb and say we’re top 8 maybe top 4. I don’t know how many years Parker has left at this level of production but two then into the forward line would do me. I think he’d be a difference maker at the saints so it’s worth rolling the dice Imo.

We need to be playing finals not hanging around the bottom half, thanks seb, thanks Luke.

I have watched some of Callaghan highlights. I'm no expert on him but I don't rate him from it. He holds the ball too long, he'd get mown down every time he touched it in the seniors.

Might be worth picking up Sam Skinner as a cheaper option for a tall defender. Been dominating at SANFL and has AFL experience. Could end up being another Sam Collins.
