Really that's his thing, he plays best as a ruck who will take the clearance himself and adds another tall link up player through the mids. If he could get his tap work 25% better he'd be getting close to an elite ruckman. I think like you said though he might need to learn a new secondary role. I'm not sure he could play mid at that size but some kind of role that utilises his game when he's not rucking would be good. Doing the McEvoy defensive sweeper seems to work for some rucks.
Hear me out, because I'm half serious, but.....

If we managed to get a full-time ruckman, say a Ladhams, Marshall moves to a HFF and plays a link-up role. Has the freedom to create mismatches by pushing up and becoming a target for our running defenders, but then also has the ability to drift forward and create similar mismatches. Obviously it has its drawbacks, such as what happens to his direct opponent, but that's the coaching panels problem.

Is this a pisstake? I just wish that we were able to discuss legit rumours or at least hear them but at the same time I get that no all postered play nice when something speculative comes up.

I wanna know if Marshall is going to the tigers for a 2nd rounder before it happens 🤣

George is trying to trade Gringo to the GC board.

No interest as yet, but there may be a rookie spot open up after trade period
gringo2011 wouldn't dare square up and face me like a real man. He's absolutely terrified. And I wouldn't blame him, I could crush any man.

Ah yes if it isn't the waddling w***er back at it once again. Took a few days to work up the courage to address me directly did it, big shot?

What's with your Penguin obsession little fella? I'm more the Joker, driven to madness by being surrounded by ignorance that has lead into misanthropy. Got the w***er bit right though.

No, trade stuff gets discussed privately. I guess posting it in here creates too much unnecessary commentary

What about the waddling?

Cameron and Hawkins are probably the closest thing to the finished article. McKay at Carlton was the Coleman medalist and bringing in Curnow beat us but not heaps of others. Riewoldt and Lynch are handy but not the difference. 2 dominant forwards still need supply.

Chicken or the egg type thing though isn't it. You have both kings I would think the ball movement in the back half would change to suit.

Shut haircut though
Not surprised that a bird man spends all his time chirping. You sit there like a good little boy and wait for mummy to regurgitate some sustenance into your malnourished frame.

Looks like he'd cry if you touched his face.
I don't let the lower rungs of society within 10km of me. I'm in the upper class of society, skid mark. Once you realise that your life will change. For the worse.

Maybe. Sides with multiple tall forwards haven't had a monopoly on premierships recently. West Coast with Darling and Kennedy had a great set up for a one point win over a good but not outstanding opponent. I'd really wait and see what Sharman can do before chasing Ben. If Sharman can kick 40+ goals and Membrey can chip in with another 30 we'd be tinkering with a nice spread of sizes and types. Especially if Butler could get his tally back up. It would end up a really really strong line in our set up. Actually probably our best line.

It costs wages and draft capital to get Ben in, and we'd be doing it at the expense of more pressing areas of need. It could be buying a feel good story over a premiership even. It might end up that it's like Lockett and Loewe where they had a great set up but don't have enough outside the forward line to get the job done. I really want a premiership and just want to build the list that has the best chance at it.

If Sharman proves he's the real deal next year it's quite difficult to see the sense in going after Ben King.

I wouldn't know, I'm too busy having brunch with celebrities and supermodels. You must sit on Instagram a lot to know that. Probably busy oggling at my incredible life.

Dal and BJ running through the delisted players and whether they'll get another chance. Both seemed pretty positive about Michael Harley. 198cm 100kg key back just delisted by Hawthorn. Hawks backline is clearly their deepest line so it's not a major shock he was delisted. Anyone know much about him? He seems to be that big defender that can shut down the gorilla forwards that we need and won't cost anything.

I was sold when you posted a fridge full of beer and a barbecue.
