Probably highlights why players like Long and Battle are also in discussions on a trade.

Then add in a high first rounder which we will want to atleast blood. Gonna make things super competitive.

After stabilising the list with senior talent NOW is DEFINITELY the time to trade out some players and recycle through through draft. Even if the call is a 50/50 one and or a young player last taken with a decent pick.

Nows the time to take a punt. High risk. High reward.

Ross is now excess to our requirements , thus the lower salary I suppose - I honestly hope he finds another club and we get some compensation for him.

Yeah Emma Quayle followed us for the whole period and wrote a big article about it.

Richo kept questioning if McCartin was really what we needed/if it was a knee jerk because of Boyd and how he would cope with his diabetes - think he actually said something along the lines of “how do we know he will handle it at the elite level. He’s know about it for this long already and his skunfolds are still only xxx”

Richo got overruled but as senior coach he 100% should’ve pulled rank.

That has nothing to do with what I posted. You are trying to claim our kids don't break out, you can't have break outs when they don't exist. We aren't that old, we just have no kids to bring down the average. The top end kids break out more on top of that so guys like Byrnes might hit his ceiling which isn't as high as a top 5 pick.

Lloyds comments were a result of a phone call I made to trade radio this morning.
He basically said that he thinks the king brothers play very well together in the same forward line together. Also said that our midfield is probably more of a need than our forward line so perhaps we should aim for midfielders.
But neither he nor Kane said the Saints shouldn't do it.
Kane was actually very for it. Said it would be the impossible for defences to match up on and referenced may and lever and said the king's would be a handful for them.
