I don't think we've ever got to a Part 5 during a trade period either, so lets all work together to cook up some more mental bullshit
Stealing this concept off Trade Radio but now that we have precedent of Hannebery repaying part of his contract due to subpar performance, can we expect other players on the list to follow suit? Renegotiating contracts mid season could be a masterful move, taking some off players like Lonie, Dunstan, Ross when they’re not performing and even renegotiating players like Dmac, Steele, King to get pay rises based on good performances.

Choosing McCartin over Petracca? Thoughts? Concerns? How about that Bontempelli bloke. Nick Hind, what a player.

Personally I think we’ve got them covered. Jack Bytel is equal in pre draft ranking to Sam Walsh, we just have to wait for him to show it and Billings is equal or near to Petracca as seen in the statistics. The only advantage Melbourne will have over us is they’ll have Luke Dunstan and we won’t.

With the current crew its a given that we will get 5 pages without even blinking ,

The guys that have come off the bench have really had an impact

Not to return the exhausting - life sapping really - debate on whither Xerri, can I be the first to ask those who know:

What is the geographical origin of his exotic surname and how is it pronounced?

Sherry?
Cherry?
Jerry?
Serry?
Kserry?
Erry?
I think his parents are Maltese so I'd be going with Sherry.

Rors

sorry just replying in this thread because I couldn’t quote you from last thread. I think Jaeger is a great fit for us. He’s more than just an average player. And I’m not sold on his knees are shot… before he played a single game for Hawthorn, there was someone posting here that he’d be lucky if he ever played again due to his Patella. other than his first season at the Hawks, he’s had a pretty successful tenure there as an individual imo.

It’s a shame most of it is spam that is tedious to scroll past.

Talking about wether Demons or Suns then this

St Kilda has not delisted the unrestricted free agent Dunstan but has told him to look for a new club. The Saints could earn free agency compensation if the 26-year-old earns a lucrative deal at his second club.

Finally.

I wouldn't imagine we wouldn't be giving up a lot for him.

Also worth noting Hunter is 28 so peak age for a ruckman.

Xerri at 22 is still a pup so I don't think he'll have any issue going past Hunter
Yeah I agree we shouldn't be giving up a lot.

Pick 72 in the 2017 draft, spent the last 3 years at North learning under one of the best and yet they are still moving him on in favour of CCJ.

Xerri and Pick 69 for Pick 64 seems about right :)

4 x $500k thank you Gold Coast. You’ve wasted money on worse. *karmichael leaves the group chat*

So the decision is between a contract at Melbourne where he'll likely be playing at Casey, or a rookie contract at the Suns?

In the spirit of the inane comparing AFL players to birds that Robert Murphy did the other day and as pure filler......If our players were fruit and vegetables what would they be? Billings and Hill would be strawberries, bruise easily and soft, Steele is a big banana, King is a green mango that we are just waiting for it to sweeten up, Dunstan is a Lychee, divisive, soft inside with a hard spiky shell, Wilkie is like a parsnip, no-one really notices him by himself but not bad as a part of a soup, PHunter is a cabbage. Coops would be like finding a perfect peach on an unproductive tree that's been ravaged by possums and never grown a single fruit before.

We'd never make minimum cap.
