Nick Sadler giving a reminder he’s still around with 35 touches 6 clearances and 2.1 for Sturt today.

Missed the 1st champs game with illness unfortunately. Still one to watch I think.

Looking good for Pick 3 from here you’d think. Hawthorn play West Coast in Melbourne followed by North in the next two weeks. Essendon still have North and GWS to come. Puts us right in the frame for that elite mid you would think, wether that’s Wardlaw, Phillipou, Tsatas or Hewitt

Hamish yet to pick a decent mid with a high pick so why would you think this year will be different. If he did I'm sure out development program will ensure the player goes backwards quickly

Who is the mid that we will take at pick 3 based on what ppl have seen so far? Is it wardlaw, tsatsas, hewitt or Philippou?
hamish will probably pick some obscure lad who no other club had even considered as being inside the top 20.. who’s a 180cm tall midfielder that comes from a good family.

dont flipping laugh.. cause deep down you know he will.

we need to trade pick 3 if we get it.. use it and next years 1st to trade to north for JHF.. that way hamish gets no say and we get a player we know can play and will make it..

Go local, an interstate player will have his manager plotting his escape home within minutes of having his named called by us. They will now smell the stench of a rotting rebuild carcase.

Go local, plenty of choices, even if it may be a slight reach, go local

Got to change the recruitment and develop team.
This year's draft will and next year's will be top 3 picks and need to take the most dynamic mids available.
Can't trust the current list management or recruitment team with those picks
Full confidence they will pick better than the nobodies doing it at Norf! I hope

My dream draft would be Tsatsas, keeler and michalanney.

Wouldn’t mind snagging Philippou either but would involve next years first

I suspect North will get pick 2 this year also. So at best we have pick 4.

Absolutely Zero chance the AFL give them pick 2. It will be a mid first at best, more likely an end of first round IMO. This is a situation of thier own doing. Unlike the GC one a couple of years back.

He’ll probably trade the pick for an arse clown and the top six players players taken will all be stars.

Zero chance? They gave gold coast pick 1 a few years ago.

Howlers?

Caldwell has only been okay this year (I actually thought Jones was having a better year - surprised he was dropped), and Tanner Bruhn played his first good game of the year yesterday after being in and out of the team.

I think both picks could easily end up being good.
U still think Caldwell over Jones isn’t a howler?

Whoever comes from a nice family
