I would only be offering 10 and 49 for 2 of the Giants late teen picks.
I would prefer their pick 19 over 18. 10 and 49 for 15 and 19 is the only trade i'd even think about in regards to this years hands.
Of course the LM's have 2 years of picks to get down to tin tacks with, but that's too complicated for us plebs to indulge in. It will be a game LM who trades/swaps 1st or 2nd Rders from next year. A highly regarded pool and such an even AFL competitition next year.

Should be #49 in those deals, not #29.Only teams I’d do deals to trade down with are Sydney (10 and 29 for 14 and 17) and West Coast (12 and 20 for 10 and 29).
I’d do our future 1st for GWS pick 15 as well, I think I’d like a swap of future 2nds as next years draft is supposedly better.

Yeah 19 is the one to get, are they doing it over 2 nights again this year? If so then definitely you’d want 19 which depending on the slider you could turn into a future first or 2 2nd rounders over night.First pick of the 2nd round is a great bargaining tool. Clubs that see certain players still on the board, will offer up massive overs.
If Tsatas slid past Geelong I'd be trading up to get him no doubt about it.
Last time in 2019 when we had pick 9, on the night we placed bids on Henry then Green we then traded it to Gold Coast who wanted Flanders and got back what became 17 & 20 I think it was which we used for Kemp and then Philp, just as an example of what trading on the night can get you if a club wants a certain player.100% agree on the cost. If we hold 11 (as I expect we will) and a Tsatas/Humphrey/Phillipou is there (or whoever else someone wants) then I'd expect 11 + 49 for 2 x late firsts is the cost.
However if a guy we rate top 5-6 slides to us, I kinda hope we just grab them anyway.
Look at previous trades done to move up in the 1st round. We dont think GWS don’t know how valuable 19 is - really.
Also, 49 will get you a bag of chips at the corner store. It’s us who want their picks not vice versa. Ahh Draft time - the time when all AFL supporters want the unbelievable. 10 and 49 gets you 14 and 42 or 19 and 31.it’s not worth Jack. 29 on the other hand gets you 14/17 or 15/18. GWS just lost 4 solid players remember. SYD are a player away from a Premiership.
Maybe they think hayes will there at that rangeI would be happy to trade back for 2 latish 1st rounders, or thereabouts
GWS 10, 29 for 15, 18
Swans 10, 29 for 14, 17
WC 10 for 12, 20
There would be exchanging to futures, but as long as we keep our or another clubs future 1st

Thoughts?
I'd trade our pick ten for GWS' pick 1Only teams I’d do deals to trade down with are Sydney (10 and 29 for 14 and 17) and West Coast (12 and 20 for 10 and 29).

My take on the situation is we're waiting until pick 11 to see if one of Phillipou or Humphrey is still available. If both of them have been taken, that's when we look to trade down the order. Pick 11 for picks 19 + 20 seems the most logical - that gives us three picks inside the top 30 which is what Austin has wanted all along.Reckon a lot of possible options will be gone by Pick 15, which could be 17-18 after FS and academy pics.
Unless someone like Hayes is still on the board - which may eventuate - I’m not too sure why we’re bothering.
Love both lads, but so far on output I wouldn’t be shouting about that success from the rooftopsLast time in 2019 when we had pick 9, on the night we placed bids on Henry then Green we then traded it to Gold Coast who wanted Flanders and got back what became 17 & 20 I think it was which we used for Kemp and then Philp, just as an example of what trading on the night can get you if a club wants a certain player.
Glad someone else rates Hewett as highly as me. Looks a complete playerWe dont think GWS don’t know how valuable 19 is - really.
Also, 49 will get you a bag of chips at the corner store. It’s us who want their picks not vice versa. Anyway - Spoke to a mate who works the mines in the Pilbara about half a ago - as a result, I just re-watched Elijah Hewett highlights - he is as good as anyone in this draft IMO. If he makes our pick - we should take him. Could be the next Judd. Yep E HEWETT 3 Votes - quote me.
Get back into the early 2nd somehow and take Barnett and we are gold.
DeKoning and McKay as our KPF pillars. Curnow to play Kouta II.
I'd be doing cartwheels if this happened.Pick 19 is used on a mid - Hollands, Hewett or Hotton. Pick 20 is used on a KPP - Keeler or Gruzewski. With Pick 30 I'd look at if the remaining player out of the two KPPs is still available, otherwise pick up George, Konstanty or Clarke. Last list spot would go on a DFA, depending on who we pick at 30 I'd recruit Ned Cahill or Josh Walker.
Our bids moved our #9 back to #11, which we traded to Gold Coast with #62 for #17 (Kemp) & #22.Last time in 2019 when we had pick 9, on the night we placed bids on Henry then Green we then traded it to Gold Coast who wanted Flanders and got back what became 17 & 20 I think it was which we used for Kemp and then Philp, just as an example of what trading on the night can get you if a club wants a certain player.
In Austin we trustI'd be doing cartwheels if this happened.
Sorry mate but points mean squat on a live trade. They’ll fill the deficit in other ways with a future 7th if they have to. It’s value for money not points. The system is very pliable.Look at previous trades done to move up in the 1st round.
And what the points add up to when we include our 2nd round pick, they're equal.
After the Ashcroft bid, all those picks move back 1.
11 + 30 is worth a pick in the 60s less than 15 and 18 or 16 + 19.
47 is much more realistic than 30 to use in those trades, it means the tax to move up to 11 is worth roughly 39 (ie a 3rd rounder).
