The fact its more than a 7th is shocking with his stone hands.

I dont mind taking swings on ex first round picks for 7ths that early in a players career.

Highly likely Reagor becomes nothing, yes, but a bloke like Ted Ginn managed to become a decent enough player in the end despite having hands of stone his whole career and busting hard with Miami.

Ok yea they paid too much

EAGLES RECEIVE: 2023 seventh-round pick, conditional 2024 fourth-round pick (can deescalate to fifth-round pick based on statistical production)

VIKINGS RECEIVE: Jalen Reagor

Chargers signed RB Sony Michel, formerly of the Dolphins.

It's a terrific landing spot for Michel, who goes from a crowded Dolphins backfield to one where he could quickly leapfrog guys like Joshua Kelley and Larry Rountree to be Austin Ekeler's change of pace and a potential goal-line complement until Isaiah Spiller is ready. Michel could definitely find his way onto the fantasy radar in this loaded offense after leading the Rams in rushing last season with a 208-845-4 rushing line.

Chargers waived RB Larry Rountree.

Rountree, a sixth-round pick out of Mizzou last year, loses his roster spot to Sony Michel, who was signed earlier Wednesday. As a rookie, Rountree didn't at all impress with a pitiful 36-87-1 rushing line, averaging 2.4 YPC, with one catch for -1 yards.

Bucs re-signed CB Logan Ryan.

Ryan was released at initial 53-man roster cuts Tuesday in a procedural move so the Bucs could squeeze other players through and get them to injured reserve. Ryan, 31, is expected to cover the slot and play some safety for coach Todd Bowles.

Ravens signed RB Tyler Badie to the practice squad.

Those deep dynasty stashes are still alive, as Badie is basically sticking around in Baltimore as the fifth running back behind J.K. Dobbins, Kenyan Drake, Mike Davis, and Justice Hill.

Eagles claimed QB Ian Book off waivers from Saints.

The Saints took a shot on Book in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL, but things didn't work out for the Notre Dame alum. In his only start as a rookie, Book was rocked for eight sacks while tossing two interceptions. Seeing all they needed to, New Orleans waived him to reach their 53-man roster at the end of training camp. The Eagles waived quarterbacks Reid Sinnett and Carson Strong yesterday, leaving them with just Gardner Minshew to relieve Jalen Hurts. Minshew's contract is up at the end of the year, so Book gives the team a flier as a potential backup in 2023.

Jaguars claimed RB JaMycal Hasty off waivers from the 49ers.

Hasty was beaten out for a final roster spot by Trey Sermon, which, isn't a great look. However, the 49ers had much less invested in the former UDFA than in Sermon, their 2021 third-round pick. Hasty lands on a depth chart that could use running back depth behind Travis Etienne with Jame Robinson recovering from an Achilles tear. He should compete with Snoop Conner for reserve duties.

Bengals claimed TE Devin Asiasi off waivers from the Patriots.

A third-round pick in 2020, Asiasi never made an impact with the Pats, catching just two passes in two seasons. The Bengals do not have the strongest tight end, group, however, so perhaps Asiasi can carve out a role even if O.J. Howard signs with the team, as is expected. Cincinnati also picked up OG Max Scharping and DT Jay Tufele off waivers.

Good pick up

Texans claimed WR Tyler Johnson off waivers from the Buccaneers.

Following roster cuts, the Texans only had four receivers on their active roster. After Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins, things got bleak quickly. Chris Moore and Phillip Dorsett were both brought back after playing reserve roles for Houston in 2021. Tyler Johnson doesn't turn the room around, but he does offer some stability to a shaky group of WR3 options. Johnson totaled 360 yards on 36 catches while filling in for various injured Bucs last year. He will be a contender to man the slot in Houston.

Browns claimed QB Kellen Mond off waivers from the Vikings.

Mond was a holdover from the Rick Spielman regime in Minnesota. Like many of the recent draft flops from the end of Spielman's reign, Mond was waived when the Vikings cut down to their 53-man roster. With Deshaun Watson's suspension underway, the Browns only have Jacoby Brissett and Joshua Dobbs on their active roster. Mond gives them a second option to serve as Brissett's backup until Watson returns. It's possible that Dobbs is left off the gameday roster once Mond gets up to speed in Cleveland's offense.

Falcons claimed RT Chuma Edoga off waivers from the Jets.

The Jets selected Edoga in the third round of the 2019 draft, and he started 12 games for the club in three seasons. He was waived after Max Mitchell passed him on the depth chart as the Jets' swing tackle. In Atlanta, Edoga has a legitimate shot to compete at right tackle, which says plenty about the state of the Falcons line. Edoga will play out the final season of his rookie deal with the Falcons. Atlanta also claimed former Chiefs DT Matt Dickerson.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports RB Marlon Mack plans to re-sign to the Texans' practice squad.

Mack didn't find any suitors after his release from the Texans at final cuts. Staying in Houston as a hedge to an unproven Dameon Pierce and pass-catching back Rex Burkhead may be the best bet for Mack, who averaged 4.2 YPC this preseason. Mack would likely form a committee with Royce Freeman if Pierce goes down.

Yep, hes done, loved him at Texas A&M two years ago, had high hopes for him but its all gone downhill the past year and a bit

Patriots waived TE Jalen Wydermyer.

It's the second time Wydermyer, who went undrafted after starting 33 games in college, has been waived following his release from Buffalo earlier this month. Wydermyer would have been buried in New England behind Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry had he made the team. The ultra-productive college tight end should resurface on a practice squad.

Panthers signed K Eddy Pinero to a one-year contract.

Pinero replaces Zane Gonzalez (core), who was placed on season-ending IR. The 28-year-old former Jets kicker has ties to special teams coordinator Chris Tabor, overlapping in Chicago in 2019. Pinero converted all eight of his field goals and 90% of extra points in five games with New York last year.

Dolphins GM Chris Grier denied the team shopped Mike Gesicki ahead of final cuts.

PFF's Doug Kyed reported last week the Dolphins were trying to move Gesicki. "For us, we did not make any calls on Mike," Grier said. "We had calls from two teams that reached out to us about Mike. We never made any phone calls about him." Grier admitted Gesicki is being asked to do things he has not been asked to do in the past, likely in-line blocking, but added the tight end has "made some great strides" in those areas. Gesicki still looks like a risky fantasy play with a new offense and new target competition, but it at least appears the Dolphins are happy to have him on the roster.

Mr. Workcover still trying to play one game for a team this year before going on season ending IR.... give it up bro

Free agent LT Jason Peters is visiting the Cowboys Wednesday.

Peters is now 40 years old but started 15 games for the Bears last season and still received plus marks from Pro Football Focus for his pass protection. The Cowboys placed LT Tyron Smith (knee, hamstring) on injured reserve and are now going to kick first-round rookie Tyler Smith out to left tackle. Peters joining Dallas could change those plans.
