Dunno mate let's have a look.

With our current form we lose to Brisbane x 2, Collingwood, Geelong (in Geelong), Frem (in Freo) and Carlton. That's 6 losses. Then we have the bulldogs which is a 50/50. The only wins I would expect are Adelaide and Port Adelaide. Assuming we beat the dogs, Adel and Port then we finish on 13 wins for the season. Last year 13 wins would've got us 7th but this year even Collingwood are 8-5 and sitting 9th.

As far as I'm concerned Top 4 is finished and the best we can hope for is 5th-8th.

You correctly callled us beating Adelaide and Port Adelaide and losing to Geelong and Collingwood. I'll give you the dogs too as you said it was 50-50. You had us losing to Freo, both Brisbane games and Carlton. So if we take away those wins that leaves us on 12 wins. Which depending on percentage leaves us either 8th or 9th. In this scenario Brisbane finish 2nd only one game behind Geelong, Freo finish 3rd, Sydney 4th, Collingwood 5th, Richmond 6th Carlton 7th, then it's either the dogs or us for 8th.

how did Meek go for freo last week I noticed he was name? Could he be part of any deal for ruck back up?

It will always be a balance. We don't want to gut our list and ruin our future either. Trading Salem out for Breust would be irresponsible. Surely you haven't forgotten what it feels like to be one of the worst teams every assembled for 10-15 years? We don't want another repeat. But you're right in that Breust would be good. Gunston even better but I wouldn't want to be giving anything away for anyone over 30.

Also, that's a massive loss. Breust is what 32? so we get Breust for 1 season and Salem has probably 5 years left. yikes

I believe any of this obviously but Gunston would be preferred. We don't need small forwards we need about 7 key forwards. I'm going to tear my hair out if we return to the pre-season with Ben Brown, Weideman and Tom Mcdonald as our only forwards.

I would argue flogging Brisbane twice and Freo once made more of a difference given it gave us 12 point and probably boosted our percentage by lot. Every team has losses
