Luca Slade still like alot.

Moir didn't go around.
Perhaps they will look at getting him sound before putting him out there again?

I still like Adam D’Aloia. He’d make a good understudy for Willem Drew.

We’re entering a phase where depth is going to be important and in a year without any early draft picks I bet we are looking very closely at D’Aloia, Kobe Ryan and Jed Hagan.

Kevin Sheehans write up on Dantes little brother.

Think we will find a spot somewhere.

VIGO VISENTINI

Club: Sandringham Dragons/Brighton Beach FC/ Xavier College

Height: 203 cm

Weight: 97 kg

DOB: 05/09/05

A promising ruckman with the size and athletic ability to really influence the play, Visentini became an important member of the Dragons’ premiership team last year. There he provided first-use of the ball to the likes of Will Ashcroft and Cameron McKenzie - who both went on to be top-10 draft picks - and he has continued to develop in the early part of this season. A strong overhead mark with a good natural leap, he averaged 10.8 disposals and 16.8 hitouts across the opening four rounds of the Coates Talent League season. He is the younger brother of Dante Visentini, who was drafted to Port Adelaide in 2021.
Is Vigo the aggressive type Ruckman Dante was in 18s year?

Imagine having the 2 of them rotate between the Goal Square and Centre Square.

I've watched Vigo. He is a bull at a gate at the contest. Legs on him like tree trunks and will be a monster when the rest of his body grows in to them. Notice he's the schools sports captain at Xavier College would suggest above average IQ and leadership qualities.

Being at Sandringham helps as well. You do learn how to play football there.

It's probably a year early for him but I think we would do well to find a spot.

ADELAIDE recruiting manager Hamish Ogilvie believes the upcoming national under-18 championships will prove pivotal in beginning to establish the top end of a strong and even draft pool.
Recruiters have been impressed with the top talents in this year's draft crop, led by the overwhelming favourite to be selected with the No.1 pick in Bendigo Pioneers star Harley Reid.
But, speaking on AFL.com.au's trade and draft show Gettable, experienced recruiter Ogilvie said the championships will be crucial in evaluating the other prospects pushing themselves higher up the draft order.
The national carnival, which is due to begin on June 4 with South Australia's clash against the Allies, will run over six weeks and will culminate with Vic Metro taking on Vic Country at Ikon Park on July 15.
"I think it's a strong draft, particularly in some positions. Running half-backs, there seems to be a lot … maybe 10 or 15. I haven't really seen depth like that in one position in a draft," Ogilvie told Gettable.
"The top end looks good. I think (the championships) helps you sort it out. Performance against the best, the best against the best, that's what you really want to see. You'd love to see those games every week, but it's not possible. I think it's going to sort it out and it's certainly going to help us do our job a lot more clearly.

No 1st rd pick because we gave it up for JHF. Currently at pick 17, that mega deal is looking a bargain. The Rioli component is a bit meh, at the moment.

We also have Collingwood’s 2nd round pick and North’s 3rd in place of our own picks. As things stand now, that’s a 1 pick downgrade on our 2nd and a 15 pick upgrade on our 3rd.

Pretty sure the 3rd round pick is Freo's not North's. Reckon WCE got North's 3rd round pick.

Edit Its Freo's pick that North swapped it for in another deal.

I was going off zerohanger but that does seem to contradict other sites which say it’s the Fremantle pick.

North got 2 x 2023 priority picks, a 2nd round and 3rd round pick and had to use at least one of them to trade for a player. That was Griffin Logue and Darcy Tucker and this was that deal where they traded both of them.

to North Melbourne (from Fremantle)

If in doubt always check Lore's great rescource page for next years provisional picks, which I was looking at a couple of hours ago. Her OP has access to the spreadseheet which shows the movements.

Wiliam Rowlands going around for the Allies named half forward. Would love them to give him a run in defence where the Allies do lack a bit. He's solid has serious wheels and a pretty decent skill set.

Can see him sitting around the back end of the draft when we are on the market for a small defender.
