I just don't really see it with Curtin. He looks a little slow and looks to lack bit of awareness. i.e getting chased down from behind etc.

Still think we should be doing anything in our power to come away with one of Reid, Duursma and McKercher. Pretty clear-cut top three mid prospects, with each having unique weapons that could really add to our team now and in the long-term.

IMO if it looks like Duursma won't be there for our 1st pick we need to go all in on getting pick 1 from WC.

Id absolutely be wrapped with Curtain or McKercher also. Im not too concerned about missing out, like you said we have the draft capital to get something done, if we have a hard on for someone im sure we will make it happen even if we have to overpay.

We've still got our future first up our sleeve too along with the potential of some later picks from player trades we make so geez we're in a great position for a top 4 team. It's win/win everywhere.

Port would rightly feel rankled by the SANFL tag. He went back due to form but had been a mainstay for two years beforehand. If we could do a direct swap, I'd say both sets of supporters would think they'd got the better deal - always a good sign. IMO more likely he returns to WA, its a shame Freo have nothing of value to trade - he would compliment their mix nicely.

Yeah, If the Eagles are willing to pass on Reid they would be dumb not to try and get value for him considering his profile. Just need to find a way to include North in the deal and make it worth their while.
