Mod notice after Mr Bob did a lot of annoying work in moving days of posts out of here. As we are heading into offseason, this thread is for 2023 list management only. Getting upset on previous trades can be taken to the vent thread. Lets keep this thread on track in the part of the year it's actually relevant

Chuck Tabs on the wing/half forward flank. Can clunk them and turn on a dime. Plus decent tank.

He is a handy mark up the ground with a good tank but his field kicking can be iffy.

I subscribe to the theory that Hawthorn supporters project/manifest the reality they want as fact and wait for it to eventuate.

Until such time as he has been signed, I believe we are in the hunt. I certainly will be chasing him with the PSD pick #1. I think he can be Shai Bolton 2.0 in a couple of seasons.

My projections for him are:
2024 good preseason - small forward with burst stints in the bounce
2025 heavy preseason - medium midfielder with rests forward

All depending on his shoulder. He has exceptional agility and creativity. I don't have the stat available but he might have the highest possession to score involvement ratio of anyone in the league - he is a high impact footballer.

SO..

Naughton played mainly as a decoy last match. Who else played as a decoy in their last club season before a move to Sydney?
Everyone thought it odd that the dogs would go after Lobb, maybe there is a bit of method.

Swans linked heavily to Barrass, confirmed by several different club staff (Cleary/Tradies).

The below will likely need some later swaps to balance, maybe a swap of our future first for the dogs current, however the crux of it:

Swans In > Naughton, Barrass. Out > McDonald, 2023 R1, 2024 R1
Freo In > McDonald. Out > Schultz, Henry.
WB In > Schultz, Henry, 2024 R1 (Swans). Out > Naughton
WC In > 2023 R1. Out Barrass
