Enough of internal sims .....dancing with your sister ....time to focus on real footy, real competition

Rucks are still the big query ...lots of chopping & changing ...little niggles, and a deteriorating faith in some

Any idea if the unofficial games will be televised anywhere?
I think I read somewhere that Kayo are streaming the first week? Don’t quote me on it though

"The AFL pre-season gets underway this week with all match simulations and practice matches will be broadcast on both Kayo and Foxtel"

Who are you keeping an eye on this week ?

So errrr...couple of very interesting non-inclusions, Fantasy wise, for squads just released (none really that relevant for the GC/Essendon game - that aren't injured):

Geelong -

Mitch Duncan

Hawthorn -

Cam Mackenzie

Mackenzie hopefully is just been managed.

Solid internal last week. Rest this week and proper hit out next week

Not unheard of for rookies to follow that path to a rd 1 debut

Surprising given how many are named though. I actually hope he doesn't play Round 1, given the news surrounding Ed Allan possibly playing Round 1 and being 20K cheaper

Maybe because they have so many babes they’d rather spread the mid opportunities a bit across the games

Incred list. Would add these for mine:

Cats:

Danger
Bruhn

Hawks:

D. Moore

GC:

T. Berry

Tigers:

J. Clarke
M. Rioli

North:

Sheezel

Blues:

Cerra
Newman

Pies:

A. Draper

Lions:

Gunston

Crows:

ROB (or lack of him, given Thilthorpe's apparent usurping of his R1 position)

Port:

Visentini

So what I'm heading is round 1 sub

ROB > Thilthorpe in the intraclub much. If he goes well in the next couple of matches, he'll replace English.

So what I'm heading is round 1 sub
I'm really hoping clubs identify the absurdity of naming 1st year players as subs.

Either give them full games in the AFL if they're ready. And if they're not, let them play in the 2's.

There is no benefit from them missing opportunities to gain match fitness, just to play 1x quarter of AFL.
