You are possibly correct. BUT:
Player's Player might well be Gardiner again. Best Club Person I think there are a few candidates: McEvoy, Privitelli, Molloy herself for sure but my favourite is Newman.
Rising Star Hurley is a fair call but I reckon Morphett is a certainty.

I found it hard to select the players.
I assumed that Ally was a contender for Club champion (Gardiner, Molloy and Morphett) so the other awards would go to different players.

I'm still trying to figure out why they announced them early and didn't wait until 8th December.

But well done Laura Gardiner 100% well deserved.
Hang on these are our predictions!

I think Gardiner will win (comfortably). The AFLCA votes give an indication of how her contributions were valued.

But I think the players might give the nod to Molloy, because she - more than anyone - produced "the moments" at critical times that won games when they needed to be won. Plus a lot of the players have talked about how she made them walk taller, how she picked them up mid-game when they were down, and how she helped them focus on what they needed to do.

Did my ears deceive me, or did Pridham just congratulate "Lisa Gardiner" on making the AA team?

I know everyone can have a slip of the tongue from time to time, but if he did, that's not great from the club chairman referring to one of our standout players of the season.

That was a final margin of almost Gulden-proportions. Though the very different voting system makes it hard to directly compare the relativities.

Its does but maybe the voting system will mature as the years go on.

Either way Gardiner by a country mile as most predicted and very well deserved. Most people forget we gave up #1 to get her so we definitely thought she was worth it. That she wasn't getting much game time at the Cats baffles me still.

Arwon: Gardiner got 74% of the vote
