Would rip their arm offMelbourne is set to swap pick 28, 40 and a future first in exchange for Essendon’s pick 9. That would mean the Dees take 5 and 9 into this year’s draft. Potentially huge implications for us.
If they take 5 and 9 into the draft then you’d think they potentially go a mid (e.g. Smillie/Langford) followed by a tall forward, such as Armstrong/Shanahan. If they intend to use both picks to trade up and get the best mid possible then we are the obvious club they’ll target to facilitate a trade of picks.
Pick 2 for 5 and 9 would suit us perfectly; however, they might want something back the other way like our 25 (or a future second). What do we think about these possibilities?

F2 would be ok. Keep 25 at all costs.Would rip their arm off

I'd think we'd give up a F2 or F3 before we go anywhere near pick 25 based on not diluting our draft hand comments. If we trade 25 for Caleb and Hannaford is still there at 25 - you can pretty much bookmark he’ll play is and run straight past ,through and over Daniels when we play them.
Reckon we should trade out all our picks next year. Need a year off.
Not allowed to trade both unless you get it ticked off by the AFL for a player. Have to keep either a F1 or F2/F3.Agreed mate. Trade F1 & F2 (if we can) and just attack free agents!
Has he done enough for another shot roos_fanatic08 Souup ?
Always thought he was a tad unlucky

Ex-Eagle’s draft promise: I won’t take it for granted again
Ex-West Coast forward Isiah Winder won South Fremantle’s best-and-fairest on Saturday night then was part of the Draft Combine on Sunday. He hopes he’s done enough to convince clubs to give him another chance.thewest.com.au
"Former West Coast forward Isiah Winder has promised he will never take his football career for granted again and declared he is ready to return to the AFL if a club is prepared to give him the chance.
Winder’s hopes of getting an AFL lifeline rose when he received a late call-up to Sunday’s Draft Combine testing in front of club recruiters. The 22-year-old spent the season playing for South Fremantle after being delisted by West Coast and won the club’s best-and-fairest."

I haven't seen much of his games this year, I was a big fan of him as a rookie in his draft year. He hardly fired a shot at West Coast and wasn't really commited with his training standards and effort off the field.
No doubt he has plenty of talent, but you'd have to be certain he has matured before giving him another crack.
I bloody hope so!!!We're gonna pick FOS, aren't we.
Every club seems to be trying to get Lalor and FOSI bloody hope so!!!
Isiah Winder = The SideThe big question I had with Winder was what type of player would he be at the next level. He felt like one of those athletic utilities (that Scott Clayton loves) who are a bust in the AFL. I don't think he is good enough to be a midfielder/winger and even at 180cms, he gives me more of a medium forward vibe than a small forward. We have enough of those.
Every club seems to be trying to get Lalor and FOS
I think tigers will trade a bounty to get both via our pick 2
Be long gone before61: Gerryn

FOS or Tauru hopefully. Both would be betterI bloody hope so!!!
Love this to actually be the case……don’t think we get 10,11 and 18 for essentially our F1 and F2. Would like to thoughOk, I've worked it out, Nostrils.
Yes, we'll need HQ sign off, but this is the ultimate scenario (IMO) for us, the faithful. We say, ** you and ** no to the Doggies & Port for their old shouldabeens, please, thanks. Now, let's blow this shit up.
