Considering the last time we played in QLD was round 3 2022 I’d say it’s fair we are hanging out for a game up here.
Yes we have some training camps but big deal. I’d easily give up going and watching some training for at least one game every 2 years.
Gather round has stuffed it the last few years with us always getting the lions and suns.
Not everyone can afford to travel interstate to watch games.

It's kind of insane. This comp is so cooked. In a "national" comp with 2 teams in each of QLD, NSW, SA & WA every other team should play minimum 1 game in each per year - no ifs or buts. Yes, even Collingwood (gasp).

Hope my boss rings me up on Monday and says “sorry Sherm, but we’re cancelling work today, hope you’re ok with it?..”

Unless there’s been an urgent/horrific situation that’s happened internally, how does training get cancelled?..

Going out on a bit of a limb here but just looking at some of the early pix, Lmac looks super fit. Kind of a forgotten player and yes he’s a bit of a whipping boy in these parts, but for some reason have a feeling he’s going to have a really impactful 2026.

It’s farcical. Completely uneven. Just a business model, particularly the season pre finals, not a real competition.
How can we not have played in QLD for 3 years when there is 2 teams there?
