I am still amazed how AFL have structured their training. Map their contact hours and access to official club resources to any elite individual sport and see how the athletes respond. Imagine telling Usain Bolt you can't have any contact with Glen Mills (his coach), nor can he set a specific program for you for large periods of the off season. And even in season there are limits. Insane.

I can't get my head around how backwards it is.

Should check out the NFL, it is even crazier.

Nice. I wonder whether that kind of attitude is something the coaches have already seen from him before. Would help explain why he seems to get pretty good support with gametime.

Conditioning wise, FOS stood out. A serious unit. Looks taller than his listed height too.

River Stevens also looks to have had a solid off season. JK, McKercher, Harry (of course).

Louge looks in good nick, which is a start.
