He’s far from perfect but has proved a worthy pickup to this point. He actually kicks the ball with good penetration.

played well tonight. don't care for any criticism towards him this week.

As much as I wanted to strangle him in previous weeks when he's gone for his double fist, I wholeheartedly agree with this. Was clearly our best defender (outside of Roberts who plays a different sort of role) yesterday.

His entry inside 50 to set up a shot on goal was a better kick than what most of our midfield can pull up.

reiterating this. him, kako, mcgrath, duursma, caddy, roberts and merrett are the ones with the most consistent game time.

he mightn't be flashy, but at least he's able to stay on the field.

never agreed with him being the sub but he didn't have a bad game on the weekend. i'm just happy that he's had consistency in the game that we've needed this season.

Nice to see real progress inside of a season. Was absolutely refusing to attempt marks early and was so timid, now taking really high quality marks ever week. Credit to the boy.

Have to admit; much better the past month or so.

I reckon he's put together a pretty good season for us. Yes the first month he wasn't great but once he settled in he's just got better and better. Its pretty remarkable when you consider the pieces falling around him.
I'm surprised we haven't re-signed him yet. I would give him 2 years.

He's basically what I remember of his father.

At one stage thought his old man was going to be Peter Matera mk 2 with his dash and long goals at East Perth. Not sure how much the ACL impacted his pace but certainly understood why we took him so high back in the day.
