LOL I probably didnt word it properly , I Like the way Jenkins plays in the foward line being the big strong foward thats either marking the ball or bringing it to ground. But i dont know if Nanka has the smarts to play that role thats why asking whats his foward work is like

Whats his foward work like

Jenkins is a FWD/RUCK and has a lot more speed.

Nankasaurusrex is a Ruck/FWD.

Completely different players.

Griff is your 70/30 fwd/ruck.

Agree that he seems to be an Ivan/Mummy type ruckman and if he does come good we are set for a while given he is only 22.

Probably more excited about this guy than anyone else we traded in. Will have a similar impact to Maric for us and set us in the ruck for years to come.

I'm hoping he can move to a solid role supporting Hammer next year. Then moving onto first ruck over time. He looks like being a great pick up for peanuts. Young for a ruck and got firsts time at the Swans. Don't think he is a forward. And I'd rather not try to replace TV 'like for like'. We have 2 KPFs and I'm happy with that. Get Lennon playing consistent lead up marking forward and I reckon that fills the marking hole and provides a lot of flexibility.

hope he turns into the Mummy type Would be a great pick up.

I was selling this bloke on the trade thread a month or so ago after his efforts in that final against Adelaide.
Has excellent skills for a big man, hit Buddy lace out (would love to see that video again).
Very aggressive at stoppages and can clunk a mark. Extremely savvy get from our recruiters. Quite impressed.
Think the nickname might end up being Nanny or Nanka.

Griggs too busy working out how he can fit into Lids's suitcase and blend in at GWS without being noticed.

He needs to be a replacement for Hampson as our 1st ruckman. Hampson offers nothing apart from tap work, it's like playing with 21 players. Whilst Hampson plays we're going nowhere!

Made me think about whether he was highly rated at the swans which got me wondering about swans players that have gone on to other clubs recently and had a big impact - there are very few... with the exception of a couple of ruckman... mummy, jolly perhaps ?
