Club: Bendigo Pioneers
State: Victoria
Height: 182cm
Weight: 72kg

This year Dow split his football between Geelong Grammar and the Bendigo Pioneers at NAB League level. He also represented Vic Country in every game at the National Championships.

He plays his best football through the midfield where he can showcase his brilliant agility and ball handling to win clearances and either step out of traffic or release using clean and creative hands. When resting forward Dow is a constant threat. His speed off the mark and marking ability mean he is a tough match up for defenders.

We think Dow has huge growth in his game. He has the athleticism and football smarts to develop into a very good midfielder for the Richmond Football Club.

55 second highlights clip. Love the effort RFC. Used to get 6 minute highlights of pick 47 Brad Helbig but can only muster 55 seconds for a first rounder in 2019.
The highlight packages of a whole are absolutely dreadful for the draft prospects this year.

I remember watching Conca’s draft video thinking he was going to become one of the greatest midfielders in the competition.

First thought Is it’s a bit of a reach that would of made more sense if we didn’t get shafted by the afl on Ellis compo

With Robertson/worrell/Bianco/sharp on the board it’s a ballsy pick have to back in our recruiting team once a tiger always a Richmond man

Doesnt the afl profile the draftees , hardly think the rfc burns the midnight oil doing draft edits all night of every junior in the country , seriously , get with the program dude

Up until last year Richmond always made their own highlights of the draftees. For whatever reason it changed and we now have highlight packages that last less than a minute.

Huge fan of this pick. Think he screams RFC player. Seems to be developing the ability to hunt the ball, nifty at getting his hands free in the contest, has the burst of speed and quick feet to change direction and from what I’ve heard is very good in the air.

multiple position player with high upside. Not sure Stephens or Robertson can sprout those credentials. Give him a season in the two’s and multiple pre-seasons and he could be a great foil to our young midfield.
