Wikipedia says he's dead, any truth to that??

Fortunately rumours of Benny's demise are untrue...

After an amazing 50 games we lost BK to the new expansion team Harry the Hirer...

Ben has been with Harry since 2005 and is now the captain of the blue team....

There's a blast from the past - what a flog.

We need a player watch thread for Billy Morrison. The hype around that guy was unreal, touted as the next Jonathon Brown premier forward.

Surely 2017 will be his breakout year?

Wrong it was this year...

FERNTREE Gully forward Billy Morrison says he is likely to play one more year with the Eagles before returning to his native Tasmania.

Morrison capped off a memorable season in his first year at the Gully on Wednesday night, taking home the James Medal as the Division 4 best-and-fairest player.

Don't remember Billy Morrison. Any relation to Chad Morrison?
Not as far as I know. Billy was from Tasmania, Chad from Victoria. Despite being a first-round draft pick Billy never managed a senior game.

For anyone that's having trouble remembering him!!:-

I'll never forget the day Joffa recited the Lord's Prayer. "Our Father who art in Heaven, how could you let us re-sign Kinnear for 2 years......"

Billy was touted as the next Johnathon Brown, turned up with a few spare types under the jumper and never gave a whimper, not even a sniff of a senior game. Had legs like tree trunks, the speed of a red gum and the turning circle of a canal barge.
But supposedly also had the largest hands - or close to it - in the history of the game. Just a shame he didn't know how to use them.
