I have only follows The Lions since '98, before that i wasn't really interested in footy, but was brought up on Footy.Now a very loyal supporter of all of my fellas.

Second teams as of 2001 season: HAWKS (as my father played footy with Jason Dunstal in QLD) SAINTS (as Stevie Lawrence, Brett Voss and Nick Reiwoldt now play for the Saints) MELBOURNE (I will only follow them if they pick up Ben "Dohey" Doherty for either there rookie list or senior list, other than that i wouldn't even look at then.)

Least hated teams WESTERN BULLDOGS and NORTH MELBOURNE

I'm with dog crazy on this one. The only reason to hope another team wins is if it benefits the scraggers. Dont get me wrong-if another club was under siege and it needed help I'd among the first behind the barricade. What shinboner said was just sensational and is the attitude of a true fan, there should be more of it.
However I dont mind naming the teams that I hate. The Brisbane sooks-when theyve won a flag their players can start calling others chokers. North Melbourne-sorry shinners but this is a family thing my family have been in this area since the 1890s and have been following the club ever since and in the early days the two clubs didnt like one another its just hung over since then.

My second fav team would probably be Sydney. I like to see the Swans do well, because it is good for the game and I take a keen interest in the game of Australian Football. If Essendon don't win the flag, I'd love to see a Sydney premiership. How great would that be for the code !!!

Most hated is Carlton. They're evil

I don't have a certain 2nd team but generally I empathize with whichever team is struggling for form & lagging down at the bottom of the ladder.
Except when its Collingwood.

Dislike teams in no particular order:

Brisbane & Sydney :special need clubs. Poaches staff from other clubs.

Melbourne: sold their soul when they become the Gutnicks.

Bulldogs: Would like to think they are like clubs that win premierships. In reality they are pretenders.

Carlton: Cheque book history.

Essendon: Most admired. Sleak on & off the feild.

However I hate with a passion any team that North play on any given day.

Being a Port Adelaide supporter my second favourite side would have to be any one that beats Adelaide, I just hate them.

I don't mind the Dees, and I loathe Carlton, Collingwood and Essendon. Carlton more than the others, it's nothing but pure hatred for the Navy Blues.

just becuase i hate the club doesn;t mean i hate the supporters except for one bunch of carlton ppl who sit near the brisbane cheersquad in melbourne, those carlton supporters really scare me!!!
