I wonder if that Lachie Young badge that they sold at the Roo Shop has any value as a collector's item?Like when they convinced us to trade for an eight game Lachie Young rather than force them to delist him and get him for free

Haven’t seen too many tbhAny apologies for those that defended this trade yet? I haven't kept up.
Worst trades ever ???
1. Hay
2. Polec
3. Daniel
There is good reasoning to put Daniel first because the other 2 had merit initially, just the outcomes were disastrous.
The Daniel trade was a disaster right from its first inception. Anyone with half a brain would have foreseen it.
Similar to Hay & Polec, it had some merit. Young key tall stuck behind some very good players and showed signs on the few occasions he played seniors. Not enough CCJ.

Is he a campaigner?
We downgraded pick 63 for pick 70 in that trade and then didn't use that pick. Wouldn't really call it as pulling one over on us there. It just helped them to facilitate it as a 3 way trade with Brisbane to pick up Stef Martin.
Are you still confused?I’m a bit confused why the general consensus is we paid overs with pick 25. I would have thought a player that has proven All-Australian caliber ability, no off-field red flags, leadership credentials, BnF in a successful year, no injury concerns, at a prime age of 28 would have demanded at the very least a pick in the early 20’s?
We could have given a future 2nd or 3rd, but if the Dogs wanted picks this year, what else are we going to give them?
If he didn’t have a down year this year, we would have paid way more than pick 25. I’d say we got him at his prime age at the best possible buying time.
And hallelujah a proper half back not a repurposed one.
The collective trade approach that resulted in pick 2 for Daniel and pick ~30 has to be number 1.Worst trades ever ???

It's truly staggering. He was cooked two years ago - what did our coaches /recruiters see
I think it’s the equivalent of when you’re 20 years old at 1 AM with your beer goggles on. Then every female at the Werribee RSL looks like Claudia Schiffer, Liz Hurley and Elle McPherson. You even stop to admire yourself in the toilets mirror thinking you’re a young Brad Pitt or Bradley Cooper. He was cooked two years ago - what did our coaches /recruiters see

Probably saw the experienced component and forgot about the rest.He was cooked two years ago - what did our coaches /recruiters see
Less than two years ago he came fourth in their B&F behind Bont, Libba and Ed Richards. He was cooked two years ago - what did our coaches /recruiters see
The bloody dogs were playing the long game - he finished top 4 in the bnf , we want pick 25Less than two years ago he came fourth in their B&F behind Bont, Libba and Ed Richards.
GR with all your connections - let them know we have gun scouts on here.Probably saw the experienced component and forgot about the rest.

He looks worse on our backline cos our players don't move enough. He's not the only one that goes back and forth looking for targets when he kicks out from 50. He's taken shitloads of kickouts but we've also increased our scores from kickouts by 500% or five times what we scored last year. So despite how bad he looks and what everyone says, he must be having some positive impact.
