More to come

Gill is the Adelaide Football Club's next excitement machine!

He was an absolute ball magnet in that last quarter.

Our contested ball winning margin today was amazing, we absolutely killed Essendon in that area.

Looking forward to NC's Press Conference where he will say how important that win was "for this footy club" ... and how!!! :)

Dangerfield is now my absolute top top #1 favourite. What an absolute star he is going to be. Love him.

Gill. *shakes head*. Do I laugh, cry, cheer, something else? Christ. He's left field alright. Played very well though.

Mackay is a star of the future.

With the spin he puts on the ball, he may take over Warney's role too. :)
He wrote himself out of being delisted at the end of this year with his performance today.

Was a good game.

Maric, Gill were great.

Bock was too.

Moran seems to possess some sort of ball attraction device, good game from him.

Campbell didn't appear to get huge gametime, might have been playing a negating role, though when he did get it he used it well.

Liked the attack on the ball by Doughty, Massie, Basset, Douglas, Shirley, Symes.

Oh what the hell, all played well.

are player stats up anywhere? it never works on my computer when i look it up on the afl website

I agree

I thought Gill was gone for all money about 5 weeks ago over the last few weeks he has definately earnt a contract extention.

I think Dangerfield is going to be a great player. He was a little rusty to start with and it was a bit above him, but he eventually found his feet, kicked a great goal and I think it was an impressive debut. Good work by the young fella.

Great game today. Even though we won easily, we should have buried them but we let them keep coming at us. Still.....can't be too disapointed and it was a win that we needed to have. I enjoyed it.

I wouldn't call his first kick in AFL footy rusty. ;)

No, neither would I, but that was at half time when he had settled down a bit. I thought he was running around like a headless chook to start with....but as I said, he did settle down and when he did, he showed why there is so much hype about the kid. Not knocking him at all, a great debut and I look forward to seeing more of him in the future.

That was only ever another poor call on this board. Gill would not have been delisted at year's end. He will be a Crow for a few years yet and will play many more games.

What to say about today? All played well sums it up and the boys are playing great team footy.

It will never be that easy coming out of the midle or from the stoppages again. Essendon were poor today. Didn't look interested at times. They have the same problem as some other sides. Okay on the burst, but don't work hard enough when the opposition has it.

Danger's 1st kick a goal. :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

How good are our rucks going?

Moran was vastly improved in the second half in his actual ruckwork, in addition to his good around-the-ground work. 1st half was a worry re ruckwork, but learns quickly:thumbsu:

Maric playing like a consistent veteran and is shouldering the responsibility beautifully.

[ on AA McDermott now saying Danger is too fast...just get over it boys, who cares if Uncle Russell is upset...Danger had a very promising debut from limited opportunities]

van Berlo's chase in that last quarter was phenomenal.

Good to see Goodwin get amongst it, still looks a little stiff to me but coping with it better.

Rutten broke even. Bock good. Bass and Mass body in the line when required. Doughty in top form...all the defence were great but when you win the centre clearances like that it certainly helps.

Symes...finds the ball beautifully, and is at his best when he disposes of the ball 'within himself' and does the simple thing. Great game.

Reilly much improved in the 2nd half. Valuable minutes in the centre.

Johncock quiet but did a couple of really clever things. Should be reaching his peak come finals time.

Douglas had the occassional flash of brilliance (great snap, good hands overhead) but i really worry about his composure in traffic for a little fella.

Gill...it's all been said. X-FACTOR!

Porps, Vince and Knights to come in. Tippett in reserve if Maric, Moran or Gill go down. Combo of Campbell, Petrenko, Otten and Dangerfield in reserve most likely out of best 22 (be tough on Campbell but selection gonna be tight in the next 2 weeks).

Knights in this week.

Porps vs WB

Vince for the first final.
