Brownlow AFL 2022 Brownlow Medal Count

That last game against Collingwood, Cripps did everything he possibly could to get the win or at least a draw to get into finals. Almost deserved the brownlow just for that. Pity he had a few dumb teammates who stuffed up the chance to win/draw.

Amon got more votes than Josh Dunkley... just sayin.

Yeah but what about Willie Rioli?

Amon 2022 > Robbie Gray 2014 apparently

Just tuned in and watched the final 3 rounds of voting. Actually forgot it was on. Haven't really bothered with this award since the infamous Robbie Gray - 14 Votes of 2014.

Great result popular winner hope Touk Miller wins next year.

Geez, how many players have won a brownlow with voss as a player or coach in their side?
2 in a row in 2001-02, and 2 in a row 2021-22, all midfielders.

Surely you mean Connor Rozee?

The Brownlow is really a pure inside midfielders award. If you look at past winners they all average 15+ CP a game. All midfield bulls like Neale, Wines, Fyfe etc. That's why Rozee will never get close. Doesn't win enough inside ball. Not built to play that inside bull role.

Anyone mentioned we‘re the only team with 5 players polling 10 or more Votes?

as far as I can see, no team even had 4.

Not many players would've won a Brownlow before playing in a final.
Hayden Bunton Snr won 3 without playing a final, and he might have won a Sandover or two of his 3, before he played in a final.

Edit Bunton didn't play a final for Subiaco either!!!!

Bobby Skilton only played 1 final in 1970 and pretty sure he had won 3 well before then.
