And the answer is, like everything AFL, money.

We’ve actually only won 35% of our night game at AO across the last 2 years (and last week).

We have virtually no home advantage when it comes to playing there but particularly at night which is interesting.

With how you guys have improved, you should be quite confident of getting across the line.

35% on our own home deck, that’s atrocious.

But that probably says more about the quality of opposition at Adelaide Oval in night games vs day games. Night games are prime time Thursday, Friday and Saturday night games involving good teams where as your West Coasts and Norths are usually day games. Essendon aren't the quality of Collingwood, Brisbane, Geelong, Richmond etc who you normally play at night.

I think it'll be similar to the AO game last year and Sydney vs Essendon this year. Essendon to start well before Port eventually control the game and run the game out to win by 15-25 points.
