I know if my team were in Adelaide's situation, I would expect them to take a mark, chip it around so the players can set up back in more attacking positions, and then start to try to play the game with different space.

At the moment, all Adelaide are doing is trying to kick their way through a ground that has been set up by Hawthorn for their own defence. There doesn't seem to be any attempt to try to change the shape of the play at all.
