Can a mod add gameplay coming soon to the title so people will stop pissing and moaning about nothing being out yet?
Can the developer add some game play footage before releasing the final product?

Lo and behold, of course not.
 
They said on Facebook that they will show us gameplay before launch. I assume a week before maybe?

Because you literally didn't say that in your post. Or maybe add a source that game play footage was coming.
 
I also noticed in the trailer that Steele Sidebottom has a full head of hair. I hope they fix the little things before launch. Even Dusty still has the same hair from 2015. Faces/hair needs to be updated.

Twistie3 talked about this in his video as he had a hand in working on the game. There are a few players who's face scans will remain the same as the last game. So based on that and the trailer it seems Fyfe, Martin and Sidebottom are all keeping the same scan. Oh well no big deal

It's literally in this thread where the guy who interviewed WW said they would have gameplay footage before launch, if you weren't lazy you would've seen this.
 
Things they did right last time, and hopefully expand on:

-Sliders! Give us as much control as possible! Please don’t dumb them down like most games do.
-Local Multiplayer - not huge issue right now, but it was a REALLY fun 4 player game, when all on the couch and a few beers, playing for the same team.
-Too and fro - I played many games against AI, and with the sliders tuned perfectly, I had many arm wrestle games. Loved it.
-Camera angles. While nothing was perfected, again, quite a few options, and the ability to exactly zoom where you want them. Hopefully they find a way that the camera can switch (when viewing from behind) when there’s a turn over, without the controlled direction changing. That always led to stuff ups.

My main gripe was not graphics (had absolutely no issues other than maybe needing a few more pixels).
-It was game styles. Too much one on one. While I love that in real footy, it’s not what happens any more.
It was possible to get slightly outnumbered matchups, but very limited.
Hopefully they allow an extra man back (obviously not when a centre bounce), outside or inside game plans, effective switching (was not ever worth it in Evo 1), and dare I even say it - rolling mauls in tight games/flooding.

-Also need more variation in kicking (especially for goalmand no gun barrel torps), and differences in speed. To be effective last time, you had to go and make all big men waaay slower, and turn fatigue rate all the way up! Time consuming and still not perfect. This was THE ONLY way to stop one on ones everywhere, as players quickly fatigued.

All in all. Cannot wait! But even though they finally said a PC version is on the way, god knows when that will be released :(

You guys should look on the positive side, I made Evo 1 fun by tuning the gameplay sliders to make it realistic, I tuned all the ratings of each team to make all the season results realistic and if you are worried about players having outdated or crappy face scans, you can just download the nice ones made in the fanhub

Player ratings had the most effect.
I only ever played as the dees, so I tweaked their stats to make more randomness and difficulty (ie reduced their kicking skills so a dead straight kick was much harder), and also slowed all the leagues big (or fat) players down.
Also reduced tons of players kicking distance and tackling ability and skills.
Also importantly their stamina right down to stop 1 v 1s
Worked wonders - hence why I pray they keep the depth of the sliders!

i like it! Hope the sliders are in this game too
 
Praying that there is a pre release for the fanhub just like Evo 1. Would be nice for people to be able to edit stats, faces, etc before the game comes out and career modes begin.
 
I presume this will be $100 on PSN? Trying to go digital but it's hard when stuff like this will be $70-80 at Big W.
Fingers crossed we don’t go into full lock down and we still get the choice to go to the shops and buy a physical copy...certainly my preferred option!

Reduced the kicking distance? That was a real gripe of mine last time. As soon as you bumped the difficulty up it didn't make the opponent smarter or different, it just monstered their stats and r*ped yours. All of a sudden a perfect Taylor Walker kick would go 30m while on the opposition Caleb Daniel is launching 70m bombs .5 seconds after receiving the ball. Admittedly, I never really mucked around with the sliders though so maybe they fixed that?
 
I hope the game has a slightly heavier feel to it. More realistic that way
 
Been reading around but haven’t seen anything/sorry if been asked but has there been any confirmation of modes?

Would love a be a pro mode/career style mode
 
Does Wicked Watch have a forum or anything outside of their social media for them to receive community feedback etc?

I really wonder what sort of forums (besides this one obviously) and their social media that they use to consider initiatives for development into their games
