So is there going to be a separate discussion thread for the 1.02 Update launch?

For those into Golf Games, this looks like good news - 2K are going to Publish the Golf Club from HB Studios:
Looking forward to playing it. TGC2019 was actually HB's first in-house game to be published by 2K. Just didn't carry the 2K name in the title but introduced the PGA License. I think overall this is a good move having the PGA + 2K name recognition - without knowing the terms of the publishing deal. This will be the first TGC I haven't contributed to since I've been back in Australia so am keen to see what is new. If anyone wants to play a round of TGC19, feel free to add me on PS4.

According to BigAnt I can expect it midday tomorrow.
Will check it then.

It sounded like from a forum post that it got held back "to squeeze in as fixes as possible" and will "hope to announce it soon" so it probably hasn't been submitted like original Facebook availability post implied.

Patch notes
Hey guys, here's a look at the post that's just about to go live on Facebook.

The next update patch for AFL Evolution 2 has arrived for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One!
The update for Nintendo Switch is currently awaiting approval and will be released as soon as possible.

Some of the key changes (many based on fan feedback) you will find in this update are:
  • Performance improvements for all platforms, but especially Switch.
  • Added Performance option in Options > Graphics menu that allows for higher performance in exchange for visual quality and functionality.
  • Enhancements to crowd atmosphere and other game audio.
  • Numerous adjustments to gameplay such as umpiring, default run speed and tackle distances, ability to play on, ruckman selection, and speccy strength.
  • AI improvements including kicking accuracy and interchange behaviour.
  • Multiple career issues addressed, including duplicate players, injuries and fixtures.
  • Improvements to online gameplay.
  • Trophy/Achievements are now all possible to complete.
  • Plus much, much more!
You can find the full patch notes at www.wickedsports.com.au/community/afl-evolution-2/afl-evolution-2-1-02-patch-notes

There will be more to come as work on the next update is already underway!

Patch notes look good. Downloading now.

I find the new performance options strange though. Want a smoother game? Turn off the crowd! Shouldn't have to resort to something so drastic in this day and age (current global pandemic excluded)...

A lot of fixes require a new career to be started. Knew it. Glad I didn't start one but respect to those that did so that a lot of these bugs could be identified and squashed.

Of course the patch drops just as I’m unable to play for the weekend, keen to hear people’s experiences with it here! Patch notes look very promising

Jason Dunstall was NOT happy on Bounce in regards that this video game enables dribble kicks and glorifying them, particularly for kids. Says his legal team will look into it for the good of the game.

how do you respond Tru Blu Games

Patch seems good overall. Noticed a few differences, like an animation when you’ve been bumped, that looks new. Or maybe it was an evade... not sure.

Performance mode is interesting. Low - normal settings, Medium - Crappy Crowd (like what the Nintendo Switch has), High - No crowd. Coronavirus Games!

I wasn’t happy about this though... losing the hard work I did on a few custom players...

There’s are a new Evo Data update (May 8th).

I didn’t notice any initial ratings changes...but I did notice that the ‘Extra’ guernseys that the Apr 11 Evo Data added are now fixed. (Each team got an extra ‘PreSeason’ jumper slot, even if they didn’t have one...and it was just the Heritage jumper anyway.
