We arguably have no young exciting sanfl mids cause they’re all excelling in the afl.
Jhf rozee butters drew duursma and Bergman is likely the youngest elite group in the afl.
Having said that, hell yes our lack of young mids in the sanfl is an issue for the reserves and an issue for our list.
We absolutely need to target some genuine onballers in the coming drafts.
We do have rome and Louie, 2 exciting talents coming in 2024. Neither are real onballers tho with rome being wing / hbf I believe. Louie is a mid / hff but I would really want to add a genuine onballer or two this draft.

Diabolically bad, embarrassing play. What bright spark said to play such a handball heavy style? The majority of the time it was a handball to disadvantage, but regardless it was terrible strategy: we're playing a young team who will probably have plenty of run so why let them into the game so much, kick! and use your experience and bigger bodies to control the play. Instead we shambolically allowed them to have numbers around the ball and surge it forward by over-handballing throughout.

Enjoyed seeing some of the players in this years draft play against our side.

Been playing that way in the AFL also, 2 or 3 quick handballs before the first kick.
Not sure how that will go tonight in the damp.

We are quite young and inexperienced. Only 3 guys over 23 years of age are currently playng (Bonnner, Clurey and Dumont). Having said that, I don't think our culture is good at the moment. Too accepting of second rate effort as a team and individually.

Reid is a freak. Only thing that stopped him was when Lockyer sent him to play back and he got stuck in Georgiades.
