This guy deserves some serious recognition. 39 possessions, 12 tackles and 8 clearances against the reigning premiers yesterday. Fremantle supporters know they’ve got an all-time player and future captain here but whenever I hear debate about the 2017 draft AB doesn’t get much of a mention.
I know there are some very good young midfielders out there but this guy is the full package and lives for the big moment. I get massive Selwood vibes watching him play. Anyone who thinks I’m full of it go to the AFL website and watch the last two minutes of yesterday’s game.
Acknowledging that a lot of people barely get to watch Freo play, where does he currently sit within the freakishly good 2017 draft group? Discuss.

Naughton, Allen, Liam Ryan, Brayshaw, Zac Bailey just to name a few... there’s definitely some freakish talent amongst them.

when compared to the 2018 draft it does look relatively weak, but Freo are happy with what we got i'd imagine.

As they should be - between the 2017 and 2019 drafts, Freo have potentially set themselves up for a decade.

Uncanny how similar their stats are. I reckon if you adjusted AB for time on ground they’d be neck and neck. Walsh must have a huge tank though as AB is an aerobic beast yet Walsh plays nearly 10% more TOG.

I don't understand why people still reference this as if it means something. They are not the same team, different players, currently in 11th, have lost 6 of their past 7, and are a big chance to lose to 18th this weekend.
