Can't name it yet. All of a sudden with a fit list and some new recruits we have a bit of depth.
Will be interesting if Carrazzo is still best 22. We seem to have a heap of young inside mids that MM will want to get games into.
Walkers return to the team also gives us options on the half forward and half back lines although with Sheehan's cameo late season he might get Walkers spot which sends him up forward.
Kruz brings another dimension as does a fit Thomas.............I'll start counting chickens now

bell imo is not best 22, would rather nicky g, Curnow,holman an co getting a go before him,

a lot of people rate buckley,his quick but I can't see much upside in him? to be honest,watched him in the 2nds while he looked good I just can't see him playing a decent role in our team..

This team list just shows why we were so far off the pace unfortunately, not many would of been playing regular football in a top 4 club/team.

Some notes:
In lieu of a dedicated small forward, I have a resting mid (listed as Murphy).
Players can switch around, but I'm pretty adamant on Walker being put back into the forward line.
I need to see more of Cripps, Jaksch and Sheehan (and Watson forward) before I'm comfortable putting them in my best 22.

Will probably change closer to the start of the season, but will be interesting to compare my thoughts now to then.

I really want to see Buckley become that small, ferocious defender that we have lacked. I think moving Tuohy up the ground will free him up which will allow him to get his hands on the footy more and use his offensive weapons.

Walker into the forward line is something that needs to be done with the loss of Garlett and Betts over the last couple of seasons. We need some players in there with pace and X-factor.

I also expect plenty of midfielder goals this year with Thomas, Murphy, Gibbs, Yarran, Tuohy etc all capable of spending time up forward.


Whiley, Cripps, Graham and Jacksh to be pushing hard for Selection come round 1.

Rumour is he has abysmal endurance, so we'll probably throw him in the ruck for the first few rounds in the VFL to build his tank - like we did with Setanta.

In the meantime, Matthew Watson may be given the first 6 weeks to prove skeptics (like me) that he's an AFL footballer. You can't play both plus Levi in the same forward line.

Interesting. I honestly (and im not shutting off your opinion) think that he is best suited playing as a CHF up the ground and then playing deep in patches. He will compliment Casboult and Henderson really nicely I reckon!

Liam has been working hard at the gym each day to build up his fitness before preseason starts.

Has a nice burst of athleticism but in averaging less than 10 disposals a match over his career, simply doesn't get to enough contests to inflict damage.
