no one here's blaming the umpires for the poor second half, we have too many players who dont work hard enough in comparison. Some of the umpiring decisions have been ******* awful though, and that doesnt help

They’re not good, but they’re not the problem.

Coaching is terrible and our senior players simply don’t stand up when momentum shifts against good teams. We’ve had nearly two years of evidence of this.

Bevo just tells them to play one way. Win contested ball, bomb it long, hope we score. Push all our half backs up, good teams then score out the back with counter play. Its school level coaching. Our senior players cant do much if thats the way we play.

I laugh at how Bevo said he never rewatched that grand final... how are u gonna learn to improve if u dont.. then it happens again against Freo in a final last year...

...And same thing happens again against Collingwood right now.

Its just easier to try win lotto and fluke a flag instead of putting in the work I guess

No, poor umpiring doesn’t help but it’s just a distraction from the actual problems.
