Freo to win a flag by 2099.

Would hate to bring in the new century without one.

If we win the spoon next year we'll get done for tanking and lose the number 1 pick. With our list and having a great coach like Ross and the highly respected Jason Weber, there's no chance whatsoever of us winning the spoon. No chance.
I hope you are right. I hope we don't get the spoon in 2018. As I have stated in the past. There is always a chance we can finish in the bottom 4. Just like our 2017 season, the only way I would accept bottom 4 is we finish 15th with 7-8 wins.
Have to agree on the list, don't care what other supporter's say our squad is full of quality young players. Ross is the
unknown with me, and needs to redevelop a style that emulates class and bringing great effort.
With a tough draw he should use the oldies wisely, but honestly if they are there at the end, and we are still struggling
to score question s should be asked.
We have some quality youngsters all over the ground. In the backline, Ryan looks good, Alex Pearce should be good when fully fit. Brennan Cox played well in his debut season too.

In the middle, Sean Darcy looks like a good ruckman, Blakely and Langdon look good too.

Up Forward, Cam McCarthy has shown how good he can be. Now we await a tall forward like Dixon or Strnadica or Apeness if either of them cap play well as a tall KPF.

The new MRP one wise man band proves to be the biggest stuff up of all time. By half way through 2018 there will be an outcry about Christian being nothing but a puppet on a string used by AFL house to engineer the outcomes they seek for "good blokes" and other such worthy players while absolutely crucifying other less worthy players and teams.

Not so much a bold prediction as seeing a car crash is about to happen in front of your eyes.
I'd prefer a potential dictatorship by peanut than the tribunal system we've had for 10-15 years. It's like the mob/witch scene in Quest for the holy grail.

It must be so frustrating for the players to have to follow ambiguous rules which aren't upheld universally, change from week to week, and generally result in an outcome where the punishment bears little relevance to the act.

Come to think of it, the MRP reminds me of the mod'ship of a particular BF poster.

Tabs to kick 50+ goals and Sean Darcy to win rising star
I see you've gone for the 1 impossible + 1 possible prediction = 2 bold predictions.

Your crush is 6 odd weeks behind (at least, from what I've read) in PS. He's coming from a long way back, and I don't think he's ahead enough on playing ability to make up the difference.

I was hoping for him to perform enough to interest other clubs come trade period.

I think we'll be up around the 8.

The extent to which we've been crippled with injury for the last 2 seasons has meant we're underrated. It looks like we might have some respite from that, so if we have a reasonably healthy 22, I can see us beating plenty of teams on our day.

If the footy gods give us a decent run of luck, I could see us pulling a WB/Richmond, but equally, If things don't go well, a couple of injuries and we're cooked.

We finish bottom half of the 8 and win our Elimination Final before being soundly beaten in the second week..
Contrary to their whipping boy status on Big Footy, both Spurr and Kersten play at least 10 games each for the season

Sandi or Darcy put an “accidental” knee into Shaun Griggs head, thus ending this ridiculous no ruck strategy

All the reasonable commentators here were able to change their mind and give him credit where it is due after his strong finish to the season. You're the odd one out.

I love Tabs but he aint gonna kick 50 goals. 40 maybe. If he plays All 22 games, he will kick around 30-35 goals.

Darcy winning the rising star? A good chance that could happen if he plays at least 20 games.

What like your potatoes - takes one to know one:rolleyes: Being serious you may be right re McGovern but not from what I've been told - time will tell I guess!
It will be the usual thing where the agent plays ducks and drakes to get Mcgovern a better deal and Freo maybe used as a pawn in this , But he aint going anywhere

Because Fremantle is in WA, I predict Freo will have the LEAST rising star noms in 2018.

I predict that W.A will once again try to secede from the rest of Australia ,
falsely believing they are victims when in fact their mining revenue has never been and would never be enough
to support the state alone with no assistance from the 3 main economic contributing states .

I don't see a scenario where either Spurr or Kersten are best 22, with or without injuries.

Well, not really. Or at all actually.

Answer the question.

I think you'll find that once Taberner's performance in the WAFL reached an acceptable standard, I was literally one of the first to aknowledge an inevitability to his selection.

Taberner has had a PS seriously impacted by injury. It's a super fair comment to say we should expect that to impact his performance this season.

What exactly is the problem with that? Why do you have to evade the question instead of taking it on the chin? Why dance around it in order to uphold a fake peinciple?
