When other overseas terrorist attacks have happened, his articles were up so quickly it’s almost like they were pre-written.

Unless I’m mistaken, nothing here.
I was saying to my partner this morning, Bolt, Credlin, Abbott, Dutton etc would have been all over this if if had been a Muslim gunman,
Would have been electoral manna for them. As it is, Crickets . . .

Blot is a piece of faeces who wilfully foments trouble and lies in the process in order to line his own pockets. You have blood on your hands, Blot. As do Jones and the other media and political fascist support group.

What do you know, he’s stuck his head up.

Of course, he’s dismayed that the massacre is being used by others to “label debate as hate speech” and have it shut down.
Dolt’s only ever had one idea. “Hey, if I bang on and on about free speech, eventually I can say anything.”

Bolt's greatest strength is his ability to isolate himself from criticism. Not in the sense that there is no one that calls him out, but in the sense that his schtick is to avoid face-to-face criticism.

In the last few weeks Bolt has stoutly defended everyone's favourite pedophile, running the line that the evidence against Pell abusing those kids was weak. The response across all media platforms - traditional and new - was the same: no one outside the court saw the witness give evidence, ie the actual guts of the matter, so who the actual f**k are you to give an opinion. In all his writings since he has yet to even mention this fact.

And we see it on his TV show. He has his topic de jour and, to debate whatever the matter is, will bring on the people who host the show immediately following his. During this segment, heads are shaken in such furious agreement that the Sky cleaning staff probably sell nazi eyebrows on the dark web (drugs are bad).

Aaaaannd now to the latest issue (gagging to call it that but three sheets to the wind etc). After bravely going the entire weekend without giving his opinion on the massacre of people he has spent years calling "invaders" he comes up with a piece that says... absolutely f**k all. Read it. Read it for a masterclass in hand washing whilst kicking a can down a road.

So I'm going to raise a glass to this rusty bag of salsa. Good on you, Andrew Bolt, and your ability to totally inoculate yourself from criticism or the real world consequences of your words.

The egg is mightier than the pen.

Hit the wrong button and just finished watching Bolt v DiNatale.

Well shit, wasn't that instructive!

Two dickheads trying to scream over each other, denying each others prejudices, dog whistling each other more than the biggest shearing shed in the world.
And the divide continues.
And most people don't even realise it.

One is supposed to have bias as a politician.
Not so much if you want to be a fact based journalist
And if your media role is just loud opinions but not even elected then you can be dismissed as irrelevant no better than those of us posting opinions on bigfooty.
Bolt is an irrelevance who luckboxed his way into a high paying gig.

It wasn't "luckboxed". It was quite calculated.

Ironically it was the ABC who gave Blots career as a pseudo journalist momentum - thanks ABC. I recall him bemoaning there being insufficient right wing comment in the media during his weekly right wing warped tirades. As an opportunist he saw there were enough right wing dingbats out there to make a career as a purveyor of lies, distortions, personal vitriol and generally inflammatory language. He was right.

Or enough left wing dingbats out there to make a career exposing their lies, distortions, personal vitriol and generally inflammatory language.

When one gets found guilty in a court of law for such things as your hero has, be sure and get back to us

What was Bolt 'found guilty of in a court of law'?

Your apparent compulsion to take cheap shots doesn't appear to include familiarising yourself with the matters under discussion.

But hey, that's in keeping with the way Bolt operates so you have a lot in common.

I have not been satisfied that the offensive conduct that I have found occurred, is exempted from unlawfulness by section 18D. The reasons for that conclusion have to do with the manner in which the articles were written, including that they contained errors of fact, distortions of the truth and inflammatory and provocative language.

Eastock v Bolt

He said making a cheap shot.

Eastock v Bolt

For someone who purports to know about legal matters you are very sloppy. Bolt was not 'found guilty' of anything. Such a verdict is not possible from a claim made under the RDA. But I'm sure you'll have a 'clarification' for us.
