Crows are good, and if they finish top 2 (which I believe they will), then they will hard to beat at home, so really good chance to make the GF, then they're as good a chance as anyone.

Nope, not a contender. Yet.

Very good but like WB and GWS they look a million bucks when the game is on their terms but can be pretty ordinary when it isn't. Unlike those sides they don't have recent finals experience either.

Have given themselves every chance being in the running for a top 2 spot but I think they might get a reality check in the finals. I've got more faith in other sides in the 8 to play poorly and win. Will be great experience for the group however it pans out.

Adelaide were poor last night and won.
When was the last time the game wasn't on Adelaide's terms.

Yes, playing Hawthorn who are iffy to make the 8. Game was on Adelaide's terms for long periods.

Adelaide's record vs the top 8 isn't great. People are seduced by a bunch of 10 and 15 goal wins vs the bottom sides to have a record of 15-5 144%. You smoked Gold Coast the other week which was impressive, but you average 101 points for and didn't put 70 on the board in 4 games against current top 8 sides.

It's just an opinion, I would be quite happy to see Adelaide finish top 2 and go 3-0 and win the flag. Good side with some real match winners but Dawson has played one final. Thilthorpe, Fogarty, Rankine, Curtin, Rachele etc. 0. Happens all the time that teams on the up get taught a lesson or two in their first finals campaign.

Chance to beat Pies in a couple weeks.

Have they beaten anyone in the top 8 away yet? Not a dig at the Crows but that top 2 spot is going to be all too important for their chances.

They play the ground magnificently. Perfect spacing between the three bigs on a narrow ground is good coaching.

I don't think so. Maybe GWS, but more than likely that game was at A.O. Only one loss at home though. Weren't disgraced in their away losses and could have beaten gold coast or at least tied if not for a poor non call.

Technically dogs, but they won't be top 8 in a couple of hours

Looks like with how even the top 9 sides are that home final is going to be critical.

Outside of Freo no one is exactly traveling well.

Look, I'm not really trying to defend my team or suggest we're going to go all the way, but can't you use this criticism for any team?
