We were all sad to see Betts leave, but when he was wearing a Carlton jumper he earned the term Junk Time Eddie, so I'm quite bemused at the turn around of opinion since hes moved to Adelaide. In the end, we werent willing to pay what he asked for, and we all moved on.
Sauce was on our list with Warnock, Kruezer and Hampson, we had 4 ruckman and it was only injuries that were giving him game time. He knew his spot wasnt there when we had a fit Kruezer and Warnock, but we offered him a contract extension and he refused and asked to be traded to Adelaide. Since then hes developed nicely and we are all happy for him, as we are happy with Warnock who imo has super tap work, though Sauce is better around the ground. Both are quality ruckmen
Warnock is not a quality ruck, he is just tall.

Not sure what that has to do with list management??
Carlton trotted out the older, more experience team and were outplayed by a younger Pies team.
It was Ben Kennedy who provided the spark, another promising kid at Collingwood.
Perhaps that promising guy Waite may get a run for the blues soon!
