That's just Geelong's telepathic pressureI’m not so sure about that, a lot of those wins have come off opponents misses rather than us kicking the win.

Hawthorn was technically home game but at opposition ground. One thing that gets lost is just how tough our fixture has been to start the year.
We have played
1st Collingwood away
2nd Brisbane away
4th Adelaide away
7th Hawthorn away
9th Freo Home
10th St Kilda away
13th Carlton away
14th Melbourne home
When Hawthorn win tomorrow they will probably jump to 3rd, meaning we have played the top 3 teams in the league.
Even our easy games are against the best of the rest not the true dregs like North and West coast.

I really do hope Clark can make it. When we drafted him, my hope for him was that he'd turn out like Zach Merrett. That is very unlikely as Merrett is an absolute gun. If Clark can become the next Atkins, we'll still have done very well.If Clark can just get his body right over another preseason, he's not far from clicking into gear as he has the toughness and the skills.
Mullin looked so good through the middle. I was hoping we saw more of this sooner. He's a powerful young man.
I know he had some dicey moments, but I feel like people were a bit harsh on SDK. 10 intercepts, which was our most by a mile. 12 effective disposals. Mihocek kicked a few goals but they had overwhelming supply for periods.
Fox commentators blaming the umpires for the Pies loss.
Hope the game's as good as the last time we played them on May 22 (and the result's the same too).

Left arm legged himExtremely lucky I think.
Agree it’s there, but umpires can go 50/50 on these.Left arm legged him

Fantastic win, given the circumstances.
And hopefully with a game like that, we can once and for all put to bed the utter nonsense that gets spouted here from time to time about Danger. At different times we've been told that he's not that good, he's all about himself, and he really has been in the twilight of his career for quite some time.
Well if that last quarter effort in isolation doesn't put to bed all those ridiculous notions, I seriously don't know what will. That was as Selwood-esque as you'll see from any leader out on the field.
He's a bona fide champion and I am incredibly glad he plays for the hoops.

and arm pinning Mannagh's right foot
Watched the replay again and I think this might actually have been it. Saw a player out of the corner of his eye and mistakenly thought it was a Cat.
Arm/Hand legs him
It's a game of inches
It's technically contact below the kneesThe first contact is in the hips but then it clearly slips down and legs him. The controversial bit is they rarely if ever pay those but it's technically correct.
J Henry and Kolo will have a massive impact when they come back in.
SDK and Cos, although quality players, are both suspect 1 on 1 defenders and were found out pretty badly tonight when they were required to defend. It has been a theme for both SDK and cos most of the season. Kolo and j Henry will settle down our defence massively and allow SDK and cos to play more zone style defence (and allow cos to get up the field more where I think he will be a menace).

I love that Daicos will still be thinking of Mullin tomorrow morning when the pain sets in and Oisin will have his mind on next week.I really do hope Clark can make it. As for Mullin, he's still learning his craft. He does some silly things and has a few lapses in games, but he's got so much potential. You can see he has a lot of natural talent and he's a super athletic young man. I love what he did to Daicos.
