5-3 after a 0-3 start.

Fair effort.

Lost the skipper at 1/2 time and prib out for 3-4 weeks if its hammy
Might be out best win of the year really.
Lots left to the newer breed to get it done.

Bruhn, Dempsey, Knevitt, Simmo, Henry, Holmes, Miers, Close even Sav.... - they are coming thru and not just making up numbers.

They are the future and its bright I have to say.

Really hard fought win vs a quality opponent.

Sure it was at our home - but we are due home games.

Top 4 currently with this win and gee this club is a special unit.

Gonna be a long season but getting wins now is massively important.

Amazing win given all the outs before and during game (8 premiership players out with Dangerfield down). Thought the defence did amazingly and thought the youngsters stood up well with big shout outs to Knevitt and Bruhn. Think some need to give these guys time before sticking the boot in.

Good win considering the quality & quantity of players we've got out at the minute, not to mention Dangerfield going down who was head and shoulders the best player in it for the first half. Holmes is already a jet, but Knevitt showed some good signs, Henry is unlucky to only have a goal to show for his game and Bruhn had a big impact in the last quarter. The 20 year olds have plenty to work with.

Best win of the year so far by a long way imo given our injuries and the strength of the opposition. Winning against a full-strength Crows outfit without Cuthrie, Stengle, Stanley, SDK, Henry, Bruhn, and with no PFD for the entire second half is a great effort, especially given that Adelaide brought serious tackling heat.

Fantastic win. We had them at arms length all day. Margin is not reflective of our dominance. 28 shots to 17. We kept them in it with wasteful kicking.

Knevitt showed a lot. He's going to be a player. We have excellent depth and some good kids coming through.

Hopefully Close doesn't go down for that tackle - but he might.

So dirty about Danger being hurt.

Fingers crossed Guthrie is good to go.
Think Guthrie will be out a few weeks with Turf toe.

Good win, but our squad is hanging on by a thread. Parfitt going to get his chance to save the day.

Super win. The kids are alright.

Impressed with the kids, bruhn is improving (and with danger injured he will get more games) and while he had low TOG again today i can see the ability there he has a calm head. Knevitt doesnt have an afl body yet (needs a year or two gym wise) but i liked some of his smarts and simpson also had his moments.
A lot of those guys will realistically fall out of the team once the injured guys are back but some good signs for the future there.

What a game.

The Crows are a team on the rise, and full credit to them for how they fought out that game.

The Cats battled it out. Losing Paddy at halftime spelled danger for the team not having that clearance beast in there to win the ball. But our young blokes lifted to fill the void. Holmes, Bruhn, Knevitt, Dempsey, Sav, Close, and Miers went to work and got the job done. Aided with good games from Blicavs, Stewart, Ceglar, Atkins, Smith, Zuthrie, Duncan, etc. You'd have to say it was a full-team performance out there.

That was a great game to watch, and thankfully we got the 4 points today.

Sad to see Danger with a hamstring injury, but it’s lucky timing, because our next five weeks are:

Richmond, Freo, GWS, Dogs, Bye.

We should be able to win all of those without Danger. I wouldn’t be surprised if we gave him 5 weeks off and then let him go full-pelt for the 2nd half of the season + finals.

Gotta say Knevitt had some solid moments today.

There is stuff to work with there and building nicely.

Knevitt added 5kgs since drafted he says and wants another 5kgs next offseason.

Kid could be something. Long way to go - but steps in the right direction.

Gutsy stuff, so proud of the boys.

Called a big Holmes game yesterday and he delivered, clutch goal from 50 when it mattered most.

They just had to find a way, and they did. Bruhn, Knevitt, Henry...the list goes on. So proud.

Love this club.
