See y'all at the get a better ruck store 9am sharp Monday morning.
They're having an early season sale. First purchase is $9.99 with a coupon.

For perspective, Fort was drafted out a state league in 2018 and started really getting a shot after what, 6 years in the system?

Unless you have a time machine to go back to 2021 to draft Ned Moyle you might be waiting a while
Weren't we apparently interested in Moyle but GC picked him up in the mid-season draft and we didn't have a pick?

He was great but that shot for goal was dumb. Partly because he was never going to make the distance and we needed a point to make it a one score game but also because we had free players inside. He will learn from that howler but he's going to be a really good defender. Reminds me of some early days Harry Taylor stuff (big call I know).
I see a bit of Luke McPharlin!

Calm down a bit yeah

I doubt there's a Geelong supporter who walked away from tonight's game doing cartwheels, but folks are allowed to try and find positives from the match - and looking at how some of our youngsters played should be seen as good signs going forward

Not sure the third paragraph is necessary or really adds anything to the discussion - though it could be seen as somewhat insulting to supporters and unnecessarily add fuel to the fire when it's not needed

Anyway I fail to see how a 7 point loss needs a lecture of how shit we were, Sherlock. We all have eyes and ears.
More a signal to our boys, and others, that we can be down but not out.

Hungus is the most widely used term on a Geelong school footy field for people of a respectable vintage!
I'm almost 57 but in primary school and into the 80's it was a well known term. Kevin Bartlett wasn't called 'Hungry' due to his goal assist tallies . Kicked 778 goals, and as many behinds!

If only you had something of value to contribute, maybe we would take you seriously.
The irony being that I am taking the piss out of you for doing exactly that.

Reidy who SDK thrashed last week was on your list, as were Tom Campbell the known VFL plodder and I can't remember if you managed to squeeze in VFL journeyman Crossley in as well.

I just found a nice apartment for sale in Brighton. As per step 2 acquire said ruckman said property do I just move in or do I first convince the bank not having the 3m needed is inconsequential??

You don't know what irony means

Thanks CatGPT - name the specific ruck please

(This is where CatGPT either makes up a fictional name or tells you to DFA list Polly Farner)
Farner? Sounds like a FIFA career mode regen.
Can he ruck for us next week?

Bartlett was the prototype hungus, goal sneak ugly annoying typical Tugger runt.

I'm certain Knevitt stays in

On a night where we had one player make it 20 disposals Knevitt had 16 disposals, 7 tackles, 11 contested, and a goal.

He's still on the journey but he was easily in the better half of players

His defensive running and tank is needed to balance out guys with smaller tanks like Clark plus our lazy runners.

Ok, so no Stewart against Brisbane

Rhys comes in plays ruck position
SDK starts in key defender position
CatToTheFuture starts in the foetal position

Simple?
I've already processed 3-3 or 2-4 after 6, more than happy to proven wrong though.

It's not even a huge slight on us, just that Brisbane and Adelaide on the road looks an unlikely task at the best of times, let alone with a few missing.

Should win the Dees game, and the Hawks is always a 50/50 regardless of where either club is at.

Yes. And we chased him again last year but he signed for 4 (no doubt they promised him they will retire witts soon).
