Phillips is averaging about 15 touches a game and isn’t running vfl games out, no way is he ready.

Powell is probably held to a greater standard because he will probably be in a more pivotal position when he comes in. He wasn’t great in the top side when he played. The overreaction of his dropping is bizzarre

Jed may very well be in this week if not next, remember he just missed the week before due to hammy awareness. Perfectly happy to be cautious there.

Doubt match commumitee would have met. The main training session will be Wednesday so we’ll get a look at Comben, TT, Ford and then make a call on Phillips, Powell and Jed

Based on performances Bergman probably is the only one earning a spot.

Phillips literally hasn’t played a full game at vfl level he’s played two half games and a 3/4 game which he hasn’t exactly got heaps of it, how do you think he’s gonna handle a step up in speed and intensity??

Powell played poorly in the games he played, I think he’s held to a higher standard, I think that is ok we need more from him.

Jed wouldn’t be too far off I wouldn’t think
