Leigh Brown provides us with something, but shouldn't play against a quick and less physical side like Essendon.
Lockyer has been terrible 2 weeks in a row, and will be exploited by Essendons' pace and run off half back.
Goldsack or Buckley would be good ins as they are more versatile then Lockyer, and both still are very skillful.
Dawes has to play, has to be rewarded for 3 good VFL games in a row.
Out: Brown, Lockyer.

I doubt JA play next weekend as he did not play in the VFL and why would JA be ahead of Dawes at the moment

Brown only person that deserves to be dropped and Dawes only person that deserves to be selected, easy. Fraser should stay in because we need to go in with two rucks and Wood will need another couple of weeks in the VFL.
Buckley is a dud and tries to play AFL games at a VFL pace should not even be considered for selection.
I think Mick will bring O'bree back in seeing that he is one of his favourites but i hope he doesn't

Agreed. Toovey went okay last night. But his disposal is generally fairly poor and I tend to shudder when the ball is in his hands tbh.

And to be honest, I wouldn't be phased if Fraiser was ommitted. Terrible game, terrible skills around the ground. Leeroy can at least provide a hard body here and there.

Just because he's 200cm tall doesn't mean he's a ruckman. We're going in as good as one ruck right now.
Jolly can ruck solo. Hell, Wood was able to ruck solo with good effect last season.
Rucking solo was a mistake last year. Jolly is also a goalkicker - make him ruck all day and you lose that flexibility.
I'd prefer Fraser be retained for another week or so. He's obviously struggling with the new role but sometimes sticking by a guy is a better option than droppping him.
Irrespective, Dawes must come in next week, if not for L Brown then for Fraser. One of them has to make way.
