Jonno
M Carr

IN:
O'Brien
Foster
Headland
Bradley
Mayne

I don't know about making so many changes this time, but I agree with M Carr, Schammer, and maybe Thorton (cause he never kicks the ball). I was actually happy with McManus's game today (always puts in his best effort) and Jonno looked good up forward... except for a couple of decisions where he should have kicked a goal.

If they put together a whole game next week like that and improve their disposal somewhat, they could be a silly chance against Geelong

Why so many changes??

Carr and thorton maybe..

Shammer has been ok this year, Mcmanus was good at times today, worked very hard. Johnson is important in the team

Headland is going to be a useful inclusion.

So far only one is deadset clear to me and that's OUT: M Carr IN: D Headland

Mayne in for McManus, we don't need to go overboard with changes.

I agree, except for the Johnson and Bradley part.

We need to reward good WAFL form and Bradley has been WP's best the last two weeks, and Jonno has been average all year. He only fired up today after playing a shocking first half, and I assume got a rocket at half time - that's not good enough. We need blokes who play 4 quarters.

I have a question... does anybody think the coaching staff will be so quick to drop these two (M Carr & McManus) from the team when they are experienced player's? Maybe we need one of them (I suggest McManus) to have a bigger body with the younger kids in the midfield.

McManus was setting that tackling tempo early IMO

Steady on. We've got Headland, Black and Mayne to come back. Plus Warnock, and Murph did well today.

Yet some are calling for the underdone Foster and O'Brien?

Macca was ok today. So too Michael Johnson.

Matty Carr has to go. Crowley and Schammer try hard, but their disposal and decision making hurt us badly.

In: Mayne, Tarrant, Headland, Warnock
Out: M Carr, J Carr, Thornton, Gilmore

Against Geelong we need 2 ruckman, not 1 and a part timer.
Both the Carrs did nothing today and Josh needs to get confidence and form back in the WAFL.
We need Tarrant against Geelongs defence, if only to draw Egan, Scarlett or Harley, whichever is playing on him away from Pav. Which I don't believe Campbell or Murphy would be able to do.

OUTS
McManus
M Carr
INS
Mayne (I say give him a run with roll in the middle, then get him to push forward when we have it. I think he could take over from Carr)
Headland

If either of those guys are still injured then we could probably just leave the team as is.
Maybe Head for Thornton, but that is a big maybe.
If Tarrant comes back it will probably be at drums expense.

IN: Mayne, Headland, O'Brien, Head
OUT: McManus, Schammer, M.Carr, Thornton

I would like to find room for Warnock ... but if Ottens is still out maybe we can keep the ruck like today.

Could make a case to axe J.Carr/Mundy as well.

Macca tackled well today but butchered the ball when he either kicked it or handballed it

MCarr got the ball a bit in third Q but otherwise unsighted along with josh

I think Harvey needs to get a copy of the famous Roger Hayden speech and relay to Josh because currently young palmer was carrying the midfield for most of the Last Q

Byron sadly can get the ball but appears to be a rabbit caught in the headlights

OUT: Macca, MCarr, Byron, Rash Thornton with Josh Carr on notcie if not already
IN: Dessie, Mayne, Obrien(if he's played his 5 WAFL games) & a toss up between Campbell or Tatter both in good form for their Wafl Clubs but then again Bradley has been slowly coming into form as well.

OUT:

SCHAMMER / M.CARR / THORNTON / MCMANUS

IN:

MAYNE / HEADLAND / BLACK / O'BRIEN

simple...

Mayne and dessie take the roles that macca and matty carr had. black for thornton, and o'brien for schammer.

How could you make a case for Black? He's basically played one game, and the only good thing he did in that was lay a tackle, his disposal was terrible. He had an interrupted pre-season, has struggled with his hip and is now suffering from a quad injury. Let him go back to Souths and get a bit of fitness and form before we rush him in. Josh Head would be a better option at this stage.

Mayne and Headland have to come back. Id give Tarrant another run with the Royals (unless they are playing the Sharks) dont think he needs the pressure against the Cats but I would tell him that if he puts in anither good performance hes an automatic selection for at least 3 weeks.

So that's a Taz in for you then rowdy? East Perth play the Sharks on Saturday. ;)

I haven't seen the Freo game yet, but if Johnson and McPharlin were both in and out of the forward line, then that would indicate we were looking for a second option. Taz is still the best we've got for that. I'd like to see Campbell and Murphy string together some strong performances before they come back in.
