Sorry have to agree, Laird has struggled in the past three weeks, needs a spell. Was awful in the air tonight and his opponent(s) had a direct influence on the play for the Bombers.
*He'll be back, just not quite there.

So you completely ignore all his good work, which there was plenty of and then hound him when he got exposed by a good tactical move by the opposition coach, that our coaching box was completely oblivious too.

I thought we spent hours every week on meetings for "what if" scenarios, surely one of them had to be, "what if Zaharakis drags Laird deep in a 1 on 1 and looks to expose him?" We had no answer.

Just like we had no answer to Goddard tearing us a new one in the last.

Nor did we have any answer to Hibberd, who tore us to shreds early until he rolled his ankle.

Watch the game again..Ottwn was deplorable ...constant turnovers....he's soft as
F***

SANFL game on 7 '2' tomorrow at 2pm - Might make some opinions on changes after watching that. Hope Hendo, Lynch and Grigg earn a spot. I feel Henderson will have a month or so in SANFL before a call up. Lynch is a fit guy, hopefully he plays well and can come in next week after his jaw injury.

Port by at least 70 points so does it really matter?

Difficult to say this but Port are ruthless...came off a big game against Sydney and did exactly what they were meant to do...tear the Bulldogs a new one....even at our best Port will find a way to win as they have that mongrel about them that we don't....$1.38 at the moment and I reckon I'll put 10k on them...especially as Danger is sure to miss

Give Danger a rest. Next week is going to be a physically tough game, if we are any chance at winning he will be a liability near the end of the game.

He was cooked tonight but I reckon had to be out there due to MacKay's concussion
Yeh, he was continually trying to rest in the goal square. Long overdue for a week off.

Out: Sando
In: Josh Carr

I don't care if he has no experience as a coach.
But we need change.
And who better than someone who can guarantee a 100% showdown rate?
Wtf? That is the most rubbish coaching suggestion I've ever heard

Yep, it needs to be done, we're not gaining anything by playing him right now and we won't lose anything (except for the game obviously but we will lose with or without him) by not playing him as our season is ****ed.

God we are slow. Port will kill us with their run. We have to somehow quicken our side. Therefore if fit Cameron has to play. I don't care if he hasn't played for two weeks, he will be fresh at least.

In: Hendo, Cameron, someone quick

Out: Martin, DMack(inj), Truck

He isnt a sub, won a few clearences but was a little slow. When you play a footballer to their weaknesses, they are going to stuggle. Dangerfield was shit tonight, why dont you delist him?

Play them to their strengths

This is mental I know and not the correct spot and he is a weapon but should we trade danger for a player with a skill set which includes good decision making and disposals?

Out: Lyons, its always the sub's fault when we lose.
In: whoever gives us the best chance of winning next week because we could still be the first club in the AFL to win a premiership from 8th spot.

Ha Ha

Out
Lyons, Martin, Dangerfield ( injured), Mackay (injured)

In (depending on form tomorrow)
Crouch brothers, Henderson, lynch

Dangerfield will probably play though... And commit some brain fart before cracking a rib and going at 20% for the rest of the game.

Lynch to replace Mackay on the wing instead of playing as a key forward.

Otten, Rutten, Talia, Brown, Martin, Kerridge, Podsiadly, Reilly, Thompson, Jacobs, Lyons, Laird, Douglas, Wright.

How's that motley crue for a bunch of one paced blokes? The guys in bold have turning circles of the QE2 (Didn't include Jacobs in the bold bunch because he's quite nimble for a bloke of his size, just slow overall). We need some fleet of foot guys who can hit targets ASAP.

Port will just set up on the counter and amble the ball back down the other end for a goal. It's not like we're a chance to catch them.

Dafuq? Completely shut Zaharakis out of the game until Bomber moved him forward as a marking target and Sando didn't react to the mismatch this created.

Yep should have moved him before that one where he nearly cried.

Out:
Danger (Injured and will get absolutely battered next week)
Martin (Just not seeing enough from him, looked good as the sub last week though so may get the sub card)
Pods (prefer Lynch over him)
Our pre-game, whatever it is is pathetic, this year our starts have been so poor.
Campo, just no, we need a better midfield coach.
Bickley, just no, we need an actual forward coach.
Fitness Coach
Trigg
Marketing Department

In:
Lynch (dependant on his game)
Hendo (Dependant on his game)
Someone who wants to stand up for the club against port
Better Pre-game
An older midfield coach with experience and runs on the board!
A Forward who is a coach not a mid...... unless it is a mid/fwd.
The best fitness coach money can buy!
A Marketing Department that understands football and fans

Hartigan isn't great laterally (like Jenkins) but is very quick in a straight line. Needs to come back, was more than respectable and still has a chance to play in a premiership. Which I might add is something Rutten deserves, but lets be realistic here its time to move on.

My changes won't happen because a) Reilly played a decent game tonight b) Sando's in love with Pods

But, we HAVE to start looking to the future surely? What's the point of playing the same plodders who aren't up to it and getting a respectable 8-10 finish? We NEED a good draft pick this year for once! So, as long as all goes to plan in the SANFL.
Because the bigmen upstairs in the glass towers needs results NOW to justify their positions. Bottoming out is not an option.
