Why do we have to adjust to how Fremantle set up? We’ve got the best ruckman in the league, and historically the Jackson/Darcy combination hasn’t consistently worked. Sean Darcy touched the ball 3 times in his last game.

I thought RHJ was pretty good when he came on last week. Not surprised the only change is the forced one, nor at what the change is.

Last week’s game was hideous, with a brief period of reasonable play towards the end saving our blushes. Equally the players who looked so bad most of last week are a lot better than that and have the best chance - given who else is available - of turning in a good show this week. I’ve been loving watching the VFL but I’m also under no illusions about how much different it is to playing seniors (even against West Coast). This is our best fit team, they need to act like it.

The evidence is we have won 2 drawn 1 against last seasons premiers and were in the game for 3 quarters against the best team in the comp right now.

We already have the equivalent of a top 5 pick this year with an extra year of development.

We are on a path to being clearly better than last year but that doesn't suit your negative narrative.
