I have the feeling the club is going to push him out and we're content with getting end of first-round compo. I have no evidence to back this up. But we're rebuilding and he is injury prone and has value on the open market, to a degree it's forced our hand.
there is absolutely no way the club would be “Content with getting end of first round compo” for brad..

how anyone can claim this, and youre not the first to do so, is ridiculous.

the club either gets pick 2 or brad stays.

end of first round compo also means brads only getting an offer of around$550-650k... hes on that already and said hes happy to stay if it comes down to it... so why would he bother going?...

Talia, Hartigan and Butts and given ROB drops back into defence makes us pretty tall down back?

And I really don't want Butts dropped and it would be tough on Hartigan who played really well to drop him?
i think butts can play the kelly role... he plays alright on smalls and talls, hes pretty nimble for a taller lad.. and he couldnt be worse than kelly is at the moment!..

but really wish mcpherson hadnt have done a hammy..

So we've Keath'd him.
We'll get back much more than Keathee which wasn't much from memory. Watching Keathee on the weekend although he is a very good player I think they made the right call in trading him. If Brad is off which I'm confident he is you won't see him being risked for our last 4 games.

M.Crouch seems to play much better without B.Crouch as he did in 2017 and has started to show this since B.Crouch did his hamstring, hence if we get a band 1 FA compensation for B.Crouch, you would be nuts not to let him go given we are in a rebuild.
Um, Brad played almost every game in 2017

unfortunately its like Noble said. The formula for FA's is secret herbs and spices. Personally I would keep him on a 3 year deal as long as our fitness group is massively improved.

In Hamill, Talia, Crouch, Lynch
Out Walker, Fogarty, Kelly Crocker

F Lynch Macadam. Sloane
Hf Poholke. Hburg Schoenberg
C Sholl Laird. Jones
Hb. Smith Talia. Hamill
B Butts Hartigan Brown
Ruck. Rob Crouch Keays

inter Crouch, Mackay , Murphy Stengle

Jake Kelly for me has gone from a good lock down medium defender with no attacking skills and doesn't intercept mark. To a medium defender that's a liability in defense.... and with no attacking skills and doesn't intercept mark.

Sorry Bull, but you just don't have any redeemable traits that justify your spot in the team right now.

I said it last week, right now i'm all for sending Rory Sloane back down to defense in the Tom Doedee role to play out the remainder of the season. Allow him to get his touch back in a simplified role, and provide that defense with some leadership and a strong intercept mark. And to be honest, I don't think we lose too much in defensive prowess, if anything we gain it from Kelly's recent form.

Bring Crouch back into Rory's Midfield role and Kelly out the team.
Think Sloaney needs to play half forward. He is pretty good at the set shot and usually nails them. Got a 50m bomb on the w/e. Also good 1 on 1.

The club is driving him out. They don't have ultimate control whether they get pick 2 or not, only the ability to match but the AFL isn't completely transparent with the calculation so who know, at least that was my understanding...

Fwiw I've said from the beginning pick 2 or he stays.

Clarkson will school Nicks

Possible, but really, this is nowhere near the Hawks of old.

If Adelaide brings the pressure it brought against Geelong, the Hawks will fold as the quality isn't there to withstand such a challenge. After all, for how good Clarkson is, Hawthorn are in the bottom four.

$30 a ticket as the 'away' side is a bit farcical

Disgraceful given the graveyard time slot, only reason we are the away team is so that the AFL can charge people (fixtures are not an AFC decision).
A slap in the face for those who pledged their membership this year.

Might give the lowest crowd figure a run, even with the 10k allowed!

Or it's because the AFL were waiting on the Tasmanian government to decide if they were going to let the AFL play games in their state, and if they'd said yes, the game was going to be moved to Tas.

Or it could be because the Hawks would have played 6 'home', 11 'away' games when every other club is playing 8/9 or 9/8 had this been an Adelaide home game.

North/Melbourne and Haw/Ess games are also charging $30 for tickets.

How do you think Vic teams' supporters in Victoria are feeling considering they don't get to see their team despite paying their memberships this year?

A little perspective, please.

Couldn't agree more. Am actually livid that after pledging 100% for 2 memberships, over $600, they've got the gall to charge for this game.
AFC can stick it up their arse next time.
Same I have paid 2 in full.

The AFL have no idea how to reward members who have stuck by them.

Won't get another cent from me.
